You are aware neither of the modules you mentioned is a "SEO" module, right? They are both just modules one can use to provide alternate URLs for various Zen Cart pages (products, categories, ez-pages, etc)...

If you are having problems using one of the two modules you mentioned... The fastest way to get help is to first read and then post in the module's support thread (if the topic has not been covered). In your post you should include exact details about your Zen Cart installation, module version, what you are seeing, what you want to see, a link to your site, and any other pertinent details.

    CEON URI Mapping [support thread]

    Ultimate URLs [support thread]

NOTE: If you have the commercial version of CEON URI Mapping, the commercial version is not supported on these forums. In this case you will need to contact the current company providing support, or look for a paid consultant / contractor for assistance. A quick web search should point you to the correct site to buy the commercial version and also where you can get support for the commercial version.

Are you looking for any other specific "SEO" functionality / changes?

First thing first you need to decide which rewriter to settle on, it's possible that one may conflict with the other. Why not start by removing both, then make a decision (as lhungil suggests) read the support threads to gain an understanding of what they do and how they do it.

I haven't used Ultimate SEO (because it hadn't had the Lhungil magic touch at the time I was researching), I use CEON URI, so I cannot comment on Ultimate SEO other than I know it's been made 'right' by Lhungil. I can comment on CEON however and it works beautifully when installed (correctly).
So where have your installations gone wrong?

As mentioned earlier today in the CEON support thread Divavocals is looking into this already. But for your info you won't get the .html suffix with CEON as far as I know.

...And you really shouldn't use the .html suffix anyway. That is irrelevant to the user, just more gobbledegook that doesn't add information. It comes from very old SEO ideas that search engines don't like dynamic pages and adding the .html would fool them into thinking the pages were static.
