This template is great, thank you so much! My only query with it so far is about the slider images. I currently have 12 that display fine, but once it reaches image 12 and goes back to image 1, instead of slowly cycling from 12 to 1, it goes a bit "mental" and reverses back from 12 to 11 to 10 etc back to 1 really fast and looks silly.

Is there a pieces of code / Jscript somewhere that I can edit the slider's behaviour? See for yourself at www.naturalflow.co.uk

I would check to be sure that you have absolutely added the additional images into the slider using all of the correct code. You can see the slider website here for more help:

You also might want to switch the slider to the slides js. I have this on a list for a future template upgrade.

Hi there

I have installed Bristol Lace template on my zencart V 1.5.1.

I have the following issues that i need assistance with please....

A) I need to remove the banner (logo.png) which as standard sayd Bristol Lace.
I wont need any image there at all.


B) I need to remove or disable the drop down menu. Now i have had a look at the includes/templates/bristol-lace/css/stylesheet_mega_menu_.css file but cannot find eg... '.contactus' section to add the comment to disable this class.

Can you advise what i need to do please...?

A----You can add a display:none; to the #logo in the stylesheet.css file.

B--if you want to remove the mega menu you can remove the call for it at the bottom of the includes/templates/bristol_lace/common/tpl_header.php file

Thank you for your reply.

I have edited the files as you suggested.

However, i didnt like the results so i decieded to revert back to what i had before.

After i rolled back the changes i notice that the top section or the header was missing. I tried to refresh the web browser and also tried to replace the effected files with fresh un touched files.
But nothing has made any difference to the appearance of my layout.

The files that i have changed and replaced are :

a) Includes/templates/bristol_lace/css/stylesheet_mega_menu.css

b) Includes/templates/bristol_lace/common/tpl_header.php.

I have cleaned my cache on my pc and still no result.


What could have gone wrong here ???

Any ideas ??

My guess is that you did not overwrite the files on your server.

You need to go into your image editing program and create a smaller image that will fit in the width you have set for your right hand column.

Hello. I'm using your template, well because it's elegant, but I am having some problems finding where to take out things I don't want. Yes I know you will send me to the read-me file BUT on my stupid little computer your header for the file takes up so much room on my little display I end up with glazed eyes unable to see anything but the big banner. So please forgive this question.

How do I turn off the following on the products display page?:
