I've read through the thread and other information about sitemaps. I'm just not clear which files from the add on bundle to put where on my site. Are there any clear, simple instructions anywhere? I tried it once and crashed my site, I got it back though, so not a big problem. I just need someone to help me out, please.

Sorry, but to tell you more than is wrote in the readme.txt I can't.

OK so installed the add on, and now get this....
"SiteMapXML (SITEMAPXML_VERSION)

Categories Sitemap
Can not create file "/home2/thesacre/public_html/SITEMAPXML_DIR_WS/sitemapcategories.xml". You may need to use your webhost control panel/file-manager to change the permissions effectively.

Ezpages Sitemap
Can not create file "/home2/thesacre/public_html/SITEMAPXML_DIR_WS/sitemapezpages.xml". You may need to use your webhost control panel/file-manager to change the permissions effectively.

Mainpage Sitemap

I did change permissions to 777. I'm using cPanel and Filezilla. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

You have not installed the add on. Why you don't read readme-sitemapxml.txt?

Sorry, I thought I did, the files are certainly in my root directory. I'm using 1.5.1 so just uploaded the patch rather than copy and paste, would that be the problem?

FOUR TIMES NOW I HAVE MADE THIS POST WITH NO RESPONSE !!!!!! NOT HAPPY ... is there a reason you will not respond? Have I offended you?

Sitemap XML version v 3.2.6 17.06.2012 16:13 on site version v1.3.9h ..... IMAGES are NOT being submitted - anything I should be looking at?? (urls are being submitted but not images).
