    Hi Andrew
I'm very sorry that you have decided not to help me. I've spent 24 hours on this now, and, still haven't been able to make the add on work. I have read all 145 pages and the readme which comes with the add on. The instructions are obtuse and unclear, and, certainly not written for anyone using cPanel. FYI I'm a physician and therefore not intrinsically stupid, however, I'm the first to admit I have very little technical knowledge.

It is very unfortunate, that the effort you have put into developing the add on, is diluted by its inaccessibility to anyone other than your technically skilled cronies. It might behoove you to share you knowledge with others in order to enable the less skilled to improve their knowledge base and make you use of your offerings.

It defeats me why you are here, if you are only willing to help those who are able to read your technical mutterings.
    Regards
    Dr A Denesovych

I have this working on 1.5 and 1.51 sites so I will see if I can help. But I need to know what version of the sitemap addon you are using so I can see if its the same one I used. First, it seems that your post on the results is showing this: SITEMAPXML_DIR_WS. This means that you are missing the defines for this which is actually caused by a file not being uploaded OR put in the wrong place. Second, was this a fresh new install or you tried to upgrade to the latest version?

I know you are using cpanel so maybe that is where things went wrong. To help me see where you went wrong, please tell me the steps you did to install? Such as did you rename your admin folder to yours before uploading? And did you install the SQL file in your admin--tools--sql patches?

To double check if all files were placed correctly, try and navigate in your cpanel to follow the same structure of files for the add-on. I suspect that a file or folder was not placed correctly or is missing. Let me know our results on what you find.

I finally figured out why the Sitemap was getting a memory exceeded error. I had a sub-category id which was the same as its master category id on 1 product out of 26,604 products. That was enough to crash the program. I fixed it and now everything works perfectly.

Not sure that I understood you correctly. Can tell you more about the situation with ID's? If you can, with examples.

    Sure,

Since I have so many products, (over 26,000), I use MS Excel for my data base and convert the files to .CSV files and then upload these files to my php/SQL server. The files I up load are Manufacturers, Categories, Categories Description, Products, Product Descriptions and Products to Categories.

This gives full control of my products and makes mass uploads easier.

So here is an example of my error in excel, which I converted into .CSV and uploaded into the products.sql

Hope this clarifies things a bit.

    Hi
Thanks for the offers of help. I gave up and just generated an .xml which has been accepted by Google. Not as fancy or have the added benefits maybe, but, good enough for us lesser mortals (Andrew).

You forgot to add: "for us mere mortals who are too lazy to read specially written for them, documentation, where the steps outlined the installation process".

P.S. just In case. README was edited by Scott C Wilson aka swguy specifically for beginners. But impossible to help a person who wants nothing to read and understand and insists that someone must do his work for him. Fortunately, such people are few, but from time to time they appear. You're here - the fourth.

Now I understand you. Master category is actually a parent id.
Yes, of course, in this case, the program crawl categories used. I think that this force majeure error and I don't think that SitemapXML should check the logical integrity of the database.

    Thanks for the bug report.

Something very strange. SitemapXML works fine with the Ultimate Seo URLS and does not need any additional settings and/or configuration.

If you want, I can look for bugs - send me access to the FTP.
