This is what i done..and i got the same results:

1. backed up zen cart
2. unzipped file
3. used filezilla to connect to server
4. left side: template info right side: public.htm
5. located the includes folder in the unzipped template folder and dragged it on the top of the includes folder in the root directory (public.htm...but at the bottom)
6. In admin panel, i went to tools and updated the template to this new one
7. Back under tools, i reset

Some sideboxes have on and some have off?

When you have a blank page or part of a blank page you need to check your logs folder for errors and correct them.

While hopefully the above result will provide a clear resolution, the fact that you are

using the latest zc version...

Is not entirely clear. Would that be version 1.5.1, 1.5.2, or 1.6.0? Each are the latest version in one way or another, the first the latest that has all approvals, the second that still has one approval to receive and is not yet considered approved for production, and the third that is still undergoing testing and appears to have been partially put on hold to resolve PHP 5.4 related issues to ensure the continued use of ZC.

Basically took the long way around to say, please follow the posting guidelines

What version of Zen Cart are you using?
Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)?
If you've upgraded, HOW did you upgrade? (official upgrade procedure or an automated script from your hosting company?)

HOW did you install Zen Cart? (upload via FTP and run zc_install, or a one-click install from your hosting company? (one-click installs might mean you don't have enough information about your site/server to make customizations easily))
What version of PHP and MySQL is your server using? (See Admin->Tools->Server Info)
WHEN did the problem "start"? How does that compare with other events of your hosting company, changes you've made to your site files/addons, or your admin settings, etc?
If this is your first store, have you tested all aspects of transactions before going live?
In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?
Please post your site URL* so we can take a look at it. This is especially important if you're encountering display/layout problems, so the problem can be seen directly.
If you're encountering problems that could be related to your server or hosting company, include the name of your hosting company (not their URL).
HAVE YOU LOOKED IN THE FAQ AREA for answers to your question? (ie: a search for your error message or what you want to edit/change, etc)
Have you searched the FORUM for your error message or for answers to the question you're asking?

The only thing that you uploaded is the includes/templates/14884 files but nothing else in the includes folder. It's missing the includes/modules/sideboxes/14884/languages_header.php folder and the rest of the files.

I'm glad your template is working now :)
What else did you do to remedy the problem?

They just misplaced the template includes folder. It was outside of the public_html folder.
