Something should have changed, alse it would not be as it is now. If You did nothing maybe it is server side (maybe asking the provider would give an answer).
What i would like to figure out is if You generete a new feed today (that is corrupted) or the old feed has been corrupted.

A not so easy solution is to open the xml and with a search&replace function change back the &#249 until you figure the problem out.

The only thing i can be sure of is that if NOTHING has changed (and not only what you are aware of) the files don't change, so the first thing is to understand WHAT has changed

No, the file has not been corrupted. If you generate a new file it is generated corrupted.
You are right nothing has changed that I AM AWARE OF!
Lastly bluehost is doing any sort of bad things to the server and they have the attitude to say that the problem comes from the templates while THEY are changing the server configuraition. My home page do not show the logo anymore because of the changes they made to the server for "secutirty reasons" and they pretend that it is a template problem while the tempalte is just perfect.

I think I need a new host but I do not know on which wall I should knock my head! (this is probably a bad translation of a classic Italian way to say)
    Any suggestion is welcome.
    ciao from Italy

First off, I love this new version, great work!

Unfortunately, I think that with all of the read-only "Options" that I had to create to get a clean file to Google, it has damaged the product detail page. Frankly, I don't want all of these bogus options to show on the detail page but I do need the main text query to function.

Any ideas what I can do?

    Hi,
I have GMCF v 1.14.2 running on zen cart 1.5.1.
Suddenly a problem with the accented characters has come out.
for instance à which should be for instance for instance à which should be 'à' is now 'Ã##'
It seems that GMCF needs magic_quotes_gpc set to On but this directive is not supported by the latest PHP versione. Can you confirm that please and/or let me know if you have a aupdated version compatible with php 5.4?
    Thanks

also running Zen Cart v 1.3.9
    Google Merchant Center Feeder v1.14.2

    admin>tools>BOX_GOOGLEFROOGLE
select products and then whether left blank or any number of numbers is put in max and start point and click 'confirm' - NOTHING happens except after a few seconds the screen refreshes with boxes blank.

No error messages, no confirmation of creation of the file and no file in catalog/feed/google

    So what is missing?

i run into the same problem. all i can say is that this happened when the MSU box was ticked. I got explained from Numinix that if you thick that box you will have to have another addon installed which will make it working.

I have another problem. the script was installed and after a bit of twicking it was working fine producing the file as expected. i even uploaded to google and was accepted. i started to run into problems as soon as i've installed the paid app MSU. this last addon works very well, and time will say if it will gain in organic search, but now the google merchant feeder is not longer working.

i can say this because the last file that was produced by the feeder was timed about 00.58 (yes, i do work the after hours for my site). Soon after about 01.15 i've installed the MSU addon and since then no file got produced. nothing else done in my settings to justify this

permission to the folder is set to 777 so no problems there. also tried to completely unistall and reinstall the script but no joy. don't really want to go the way of unistalling the MSU as it inlcudes core files, and i'm happy with it.

all i get from the window is

Google Merchant Center Feeder v1.14.3 started 2014/05/28 12:22:15

    Feed file - /home/xxxxx/public_html/feed/google/froogle_products_en.xml

Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No
WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

somebody can tell me where i should look for to find the debug file? I activate it in the conf, but don't know where it actually is, hope somebody can help, thank you

my error was casued buy the Third Party Inventory Plugin defaulting on the numinix option at every save, and they send me a sql patch to make the dropdown to a radio button with NONE selected. now feeded works flawless. here is the patch for those who need it.

    UPDATE configuration SET set_function = 'zen_cfg_select_option(array(\'none\', \'stockbyattributes\', \'numinixproductvariants\'),' WHERE configuration_key = 'GOOGLE_PRODUCTS_SWITCH_STOCK_PLUGIN' LIMIT 1;
    UPDATE configuration SET configuration_value = '1.14.5' WHERE configuration_key = 'GOOGLE_PRODUCTS_VERSION' LIMIT 1;

    thanks numinix!!

Hi can anyone help please ... zen 1.5.1 and latest version updated Sunday
I used to be able to upload all my files in 1 hit. I recently went over to a static IP and added ssl to my website .
Now all of a sudden I can't upload all files any more ,instead have to do them in batches of 100 ?? if I go above that all I get is a blank white page but 100 passes.
Any idea what could be the problem and how to solve as my hosting can't seem to find a issue
    website is pewterworld .co. uk

    thanks
