    This error is unrelated to ozpost itself. It suggests that you don't have cURL installed on your Windows machine.

    Hi all, thanks for information and I have changed this file as per the post#2055 however it is still not visible in my admin on my test site which yes is on Windows with XAMPP. Are there any other solutions that can be suggested or things I can check or do I have to wait a few weeks for changes to be made, please let me know thanks

    Sorry, but I really can't be of any further help here.

    As I stated in post#2052 in a reply to lat9:

    "I've been kind of dreading the day that someone decided to try ozpost on a windows based server because I've had strong suspicions for several years now that it wouldn't work without modifications due to some rather slack coding in a few places"

    Putting this another way, in the 5 or 6 years that the ozpost module has been available you are now only the second person that has wanted/needed it to be Windows compatible. This doesn't place it very high on my list of priorities and I expect that the wait to have this support is going to be a lot longer than a matter of weeks (unless lat9 or someone else can help you out).

    I don't use Windows myself, so I'm not in a good position to offer advice or suggestions either.

    Sorry what or where can I find log files you require, I know the cache which currently has "[31-Aug-2014 08:50:04] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\Zen\xampp\htdocs\aescrap\includes\modules\shipping\ozpost.php on line 2995" once I select Modules / Shipping in the admin - just done and ozpost module still not shown. Is this because I don't cURL on local test which is needed?

    Thanks for any assistance lat9 and RodG I do understand other things have taken priority that's no problem.

    Hi,

    Me again just worked out to enable curl in C:\Program Files\xampp\php\php.ini which was not enabled, then restarted Apache, loged into admin/modules and ozpost module is listed. Will now look at editing/test to see how it goes. Thanks for everyones help and I will re-post if I have problems when put on live site...thanks again.

    Most excellent! That's exactly what the debug log file was indicating (missing function curl_init). What version of XAMPP are you using? I'm running 1.8.2 and I'm pretty sure that CURL was enabled from the get-go.

    All setup on live site no problems, happy with results except I have showing 'E-go: Invalid delivery postcode.' and 'Transdirect: Input Data error' - I don't have or want these options how do I remove these yellow notifications. Attached picture is you can see it.

    If you don't use these method simply disable them from the ozpost settings. (Also make sure the username/password fields are empty for Transdirect).

    If you just want to *hide* this type of 'error' message, set the option Show error messages to "No"

    It is better to disable the methods that you aren't using, because that prevents the servers from looking up the quotes in the 1st place, which will make things run a little (to a lot) quicker. The StarTack & SmartSend servers are notoriously slow, so only enable these ones if actually using them.

    Hi RodG, I didn't add anything in Transdirect fields to start with as I don't use them and there is no disable setting for Transdirect or e-go, setting shows as --none--.

    Have changed this setting to not show errors and looks to work, will do some testing/checking and will renew/subscribe before days run out. Thanks for help...Cheryl.
