    to redirect to
Boy, it didn't take the gremlins long to find the special_login.php file either

The redirect to the index page occurs if the IPv4 address associated with the current session is (a) not in the blocked list or (b) in the passed list or (c) has correctly entered the "special" password.

    Thank you.

It is obvious that I didn't understand how things work.

Are there known issues getting this to work. Once I started integrating the admin files, i lost access to the admin panel and was unable to login. therefore i had to remove those files. now i can login again. any ideas?

When this file (config.ip_blocker_admin.php) gets copied into the admin/includes/auto_loaders folder, I lose the ability to be able to login to the admin panel.

When this file (whos_online.php) gets copied, Who's online throws an error message and doesn't work.

All other files are copied in the appropriate directories as far as I can tell.

Suggest providing more information. Ie. Zc version, where files were placed, process used to "install" ie. Placed files then did the following and then lost access.. Etc.

I am using zc v.1.5.3. I placed the files where the instructions suggest they be placed.

Process used to install? I am simply uploading the files in the required folders following the directory of the ip_blocker folder, folders, and files within the folders.

Ok this file (special_login.php) must be in the admin folder for everything else to work. I just figured that out. I had it in my domain folder. I did that because if you unzip and extract the files, 5 files remain outside of the YOUR_ADMIN folder. It is one of them. I'm guessing all of those files need to go in the admin folder?

Anyway, I think the plugin is working now as I can login to admin and now I see IP Blocker in the Tools menu.

The file special_login.php must be in your store's root directory, not the admin folder, for this plugin to work properly. It is one of four (4), not five, files in the plugin's distribution that are not placed in the admin folder.

When "you couldn't login to admin", there were most likely myDEBUG*.log file(s) created in your store's /cache (Zen Cart v1.5.0) or /logs folder (ZC v1.5.1 and later) that identify the source of the issue.

I see. That's interesting. Can you give me a example of the file structure you're referring to?

Also, if it they're not in that folder can it cause my store front to not show up? My host is also reporting a 500 error. Please get back to me as soon as you can.
