Javascript product pages and php basket?

Hi,

Does Zen Cart support JavaScript code for use on the product pages? I want to use Javascript because I want to keep the product pages as HTML pages. I do not mind having a PHP basket page.

Does Zen Cart support this JavaScript coding for product pages?

Curious if I understand correctly. You want to replace the current files for products that are written in php for html pages that use javascript to perform all of the functions that the current php does like recognize sales for products, attributes of different prices and settings, image handling etc...

And what is meant about keeping html pages? All content is displayed as html, so without any "replacement" ZC supports Javascript already. Php allows the content to be displayed to be transient (constantly changing) where as a typical html page is constant text and information. Javascript can offer some of the same maleability, but. To use it to completely replace the existing structure of the store? I'm not against change, but I don't really see the benefit.

I suspect you want to keep your current website, and use zen-cart as an add-on cart system.
Zen-cart is NOT designed to be used this way.
It is designed to BE THE website
