Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I've been using IH 2 for the last few years and it works just fine. I mainly use it for additional product images (i.e. fabric swatches, alternate photos, etc.)
Here's my problem ~
The ZC site is being replaced and I need a list of images that are associated with each product. Are the alternate image names stored anywhere in the database or is there a way to compile a list of product ID & image name?

What do you mean by being replaced? Do you mean upgrading to a newer version or going to a different software?

To see what images are being used you can go to IH2 admin area and look in there for every product.....write down the image name.

Not sure if there is another way since it changes the name when caching.

The primary product image names are stored in the product table. You can derive the additional images by knowing the primary product image name. See the Zen Cart FAQs for the posts regarding the required naming conventions used to identify additional images in Zen Cart.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am moving to a new shopping cart and was hoping for a more automated way to gather the IH images. There are about 2,500 products so writing each one down will be a little tedious.

You won't be able to gather the IH cache images (the optimized large, med, & small images) in any kind of automated manner unless you are willing to write code to manage that conversion/automation for you, but you will be able to to gather the MAIN image associated with each product.. Hopefully your new shopping cart has a means to create alternate image sizes from the main product image (as IH does for you).
