    You said this error is happening on your sandbox. It's possible your sandbox isn't responding the way authnet is expecting. What happens when you do it on your production site?     And this is why you are the expert. I had not found that link. I wasn't seeing the HUGE downformaintenance notice because it was blending with the Auth.net is in testing mode. At least to my eyes. I'm assuming the "Mixed, unsecure content" notice when returned by auth.net will go away on the live site that has a valid SSL cert.

    I will test in the live site later this weekend. I wasn't sure what would happen if both were enabled and you helped there too.
