I haven't coded this up, but just wanted to mention that the "order_site" field that's present in each order's database record captures the SITE_NAME that you've configured in the sites_switch.php module. That said, you can customize the logo and address based on the value present in that field.

Hello all,
Just want to be sure I'm looking at the right thing for my website with this module.
I am currently using v.1.5.1
my website is www.earthscauldron.com
I have another domain name www.rootlady.com on the same server and want to create another site and move half my products to this other domain to keep products separate. Mainly, those buying soap for example, might not want to see folk magic and vice versa.
So I'm looking to separate the shops, but want to be able to let the customers cross checkout when they want to. AND keep my customer list on both sites.
So if they want to buy some folk magic stuff from rootlady.com but want some soap from earthscauldron.com they can still do both without having to checkout separately and/or create a new account on the new site. I would just have links on each site that will take them to the other site. I don't want to loose customer information or have to have them create a new account.
I want two websites here www.earthscauldron.com (soaps, candles, incense, herbs, oils, henna) and www.rootlady.com (folk magic, services, etc.) the customers I currently have usually don't buy both, it's either one or the other and I don't want to scare off someone looking for handmade bodycare with a talisman (see what I'm saying)
Is this the module I'm looking for?
@EC web: This module I believe does exactly what you are looking for. It runs one admin section that has all your products in their respective category (ie bodycare) and you tell each category which website to display on. Since you only have one admin section through customers can log in on either site and all their info is there. I use it to separate my different product lines and it works brilliantly.
Thanks, Colleen

I do have a question concerning PCI compliance. I am creating my new websites with version 1.5.4. I spoke with a designer about installing MultiSite on my new sites and she mentioned that she felt that it would cause some PCI compliance problems, or at the very least, some security issues. Can anyone offer some insight into this? It is extremely handy to only have one admin for my sites, but i would obviously prefer not to introduce security issues.
Thanks, Colleen

I am almost there. I have multisite combining three sites in one -- let's call them one.com, two.com, and three.com. I can go to one.com and throw stuff in the car. Then I got from there to two.com and it brings my zenid from one.com along with the stuff in my cart. Then I go to three.com and again all is well. But soon as I go back to one.com the cart is empty. I can take my cart from two to three, from three to two, from one to two or to three.... only thing I can't do is, soon as I return to one.com my cart is empty. Zenid remains the same. Cart empty.
Driving myself nutz here trying to chase down what I might have botched. Any bright ideas where to look?
TIA
