LOL I have trouble pulling away too...yes the files...all of them for her template...are there on the server. I am going to reupload them all again later, fresh without edits to see if there was a problem.

Update: The about page has finally decided to come back on. I did have the contact us in the pages directory but it was the templates contact us. I decided to compare both and found a couple of things different. Did the merge and now the about us page came back on in both the ribbon menu and the footer.

Now we just have:

1. Designer (manufacturers side box) will only give the drop menu but will not display the names . example shows "Please Select" then everyone shows in drop menu. If set to show 10 names it only shows 1 but no drop menu or scrolling


2. Can not get rid of upper menu. The menu in Ribbon NOT top nav.


3. Add to cart button will not, sends to shopping cart is empty with error: *Warning Please correct the following: .. Quantity Units errors - Valentino VALENTINA ASSOLUTO eau de parfum spray intense 2.7 oz for women Add to Bag:*


4. The product page listings and category pages all have extremely large bounding areas and would like them to be like the size a bit larger than the image.

I managed to "shrink" the bounding boxes somewhat but still too high and that wil not get less no matter what i did.

I also am trying to make the price show, without the buy or add to cart button on the category listing pages and New, All pages too.



6. product page bounding boxes are misaligned. probably part of #5 problem, not sure. This also is somewhat fixed. I can not find the extra div that is supposed to be present in the code to push things down and trying to make the description appear below both bounding boxes once they get aligned. Did it by adjusting the pi_left and right code in the stylesheet. Still needs some work. I think this also is part of the category/all/new pages boxes too but so confused I just don't know anymore.

I tried it today, just now and still no joy. I cleared cache, cookies, bookmarks, history and even turnoff FireFox and deleted the computers dns rebooted the computer and went straight to the store. Did the add to cart and still come up with the error message and no items in cart.

It hates me...and now even though the code for "home" including its arrow is in the file, it has run away from home and does not show in the top navigation area.

Seems I fix one thing and something else goes amiss with this darn template.

Did you ever go to bed? :) I swear I put items in the cart yesterday but today no luck. At least with that one. Did you check the actual product in admin? What are you using for units:

Product Qty Minimum?
Product Qty Maximum?
Product Qty Units?

Also, when you say you want the menu gone, do you the one in the bar that says "SHOP DESIGNERS ABOUT ME....."?

I am using a different template of hers (not sure if I told you) so I just comparing stuff where I can. Do you have beyond compare to compare files and structure? You could first compare the default template to make sure it is still the same. Then compare the original sheffield files to your files and make sure everything is where you put it.

Yes the ones in the ribbon menu here is the link again so you can go and actually see instead of trying to guess...it helps to see rather than guess...that is what I do when I help out here too, follow the link or ask for one.

I have compared the files so many times it is not funny. nothing but problems with any of the templates and yet the old template for 1.3.9 was flawless and so easy to edit and customize.

I did ask in her thread but got told that this was not a problem in the template demo...right it is a problem at the store I am trying to fix up. I have found some files with misspelled words that were easily fixed but this is getting very aggravating that it does not look like her demo when it comes to the pages other than home page...that is fine.

I have removed everything from the store---files for zen cart and hers, reuploaded files for store then her template and there is only 1 mod installed....Ceon URI which was installed in 1.3.9 but when i removed everything then I reinstalled it too.

I have done that about 5 times now so I don't think doing it again will work, but I will if I have too --- I am sure all worked prior to the template installation

all of the common/tpl_header.php or tpl_header_something.php call templates/tpl_modules_mobile_categories_tabs.php which is were the mega menu is built. I don't see any switches in the the files to turn off the entire menu, but you could strip it down....

Most of everything else is too hard to try and remotely troubleshoot, at least for me...I work much better when I can touch the files in the environment they live in.

I don't remember if this was asked so forgive me if it was. What version of Zencart are you using? Ceon URI ? All the latest?

Can you put the store back to its classic template? Then check for errors. I'm thinking of the "add to cart" one in particular. It can help you narrow down errors which are in her files and aren't (which I'm sure you know).
