manufacturers meta-tags(keywords and title and description)

Just a query about the readme file instructions.
Number 8 shows the following instruction for copying the file:
/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/meta_tags_manufacturers.php
yet the files supplied are:
includes/extra_datafiles/meta_tags_manufacturers.php

Could you tell me which is correct?

Edit: Also noticed that after the admin files were added and I logged into the admin, no extra database tables have been generated.

Thank you for actually reading the readme! My apologies for the incorrect instructions; step 8 should show the copying of the file in /includes/extra_datafiles (I'll get that readme updated).

Make sure that you've uploaded the file /YOUR_ADMIN/includes/functions/extra_functions/functions_metatag_manufacturers.php; that's where the database table is added if it doesn't already exist.

So, just to confirm:
I should be logged out of the site admin to start.
Copy the 5 admin files (well 4 for me as there is no Spanish on mine - Russian instead!)
Login to admin which should create the database entry
Add 2 store-side files

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I did but I'll give it another go.

Using ZC 1.5.4 with the M-o-z-e-n theme (not sure if that makes any difference). I noticed from an earlier post that someone was having problems with SEO urls. I have Ceon Uri-mapping running if that's likel;y to affect anything.

OK, tried again. All files copied across but I'm not getting the extra details added to the database. There are no errors showing on the site and there is no change to the look of the manufacturers page in admin.

No debug-logs in your /logs folder? The symptoms that you're describing make no sense to me.

No, there's nothing in the /logs folder. Even if the data base entry is not created, should I still be seeing a difference on the admin manufacturers page? Everything looks exactly as it did before I copied the files over.

On the manufacturers page, there should now be 4 icons next to each manufacturer in the list; the next-to-last is the manufacturers meta-tag entry button. If the database table hasn't been created, though, I'd expect that Catalog->Manufacturers would result in a whitescreen.

That version has been updated for Zen Cart v1.5.5.

I'm getting an error :
Unknown character set: 'DB_CHARSET' :: CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS meta_tags_manufacturers_description (

`metatags_title` varchar(255) NOT NULL default ''......

This is an upgraded cart that is running 1.5.4. So the DB_CHARSET change has not been made. Thought you might like to know this will be a problem for some sites.
