Responsive Sheffield Blue v2.0

These are my initial sequential Newbie notes looking at the installation files for Responsive Sheffield Blue - Version: 2.0 downloaded from https://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1744

I. The file named \responsive_sheffield_blue\readme\index.html discusses WINCHESTERBLACK not Sheffield Blue

II. Notes about file \responsive_sheffield_blue\readme\responsive_sheffield_blue_readme.html

IIA. In the section, "Back up all core file overwrites before installation:"
IIA1. There is no file named YOUR_ADMIN_FOLDER/layout_controller , however
There is a file named YOUR_ADMIN_FOLDER/layout_controller.php
IIA2. The directory includes/modules/pages/about_us/ does not exist in Zen Cart v1.5.5a

IIA3. In addition to the "core file overwrites" listed in responsive_sheffield_blue_readme.html , the following 3 files are also overwritten:
IIA3a. \includes\classes\categories_ul_generator.php
IIA3b. \includes\classes\Mobile_Detect.php
IIA3c. \includes\classes\split_page_results.php

However, these 3 files from Responsive Sheffield Blue - Version: 2.0 appear to be older versions than the original Zen Cart v1.5.5a files.
This raises the question about the wisdom of overwriting them with less up to date files. This is possibly at least partially addressed by

The same concerns applies to the other core file overwrites as well.

At this point I decided (rightly or wrongly) it would be less work for my pea brain to build my template customization on a foundation of the up to date v1.55a Responsive Classic Template.

It's been a couple months since you hoped to have the template updated for Zen cart v1.5.5 finished soon. I'm wondering if there is a version of Responsive Sheffield Blue somewhere that has already been updated and has had known bug fixes applied?

My logo is 970px x 150px. - My logo spans from one side of the site to the other. That makes the HOME | LOG OUT | MY ACCOUNT | SHOPPING CART INFO | CHECK OUT move below the logo and beside the logo as you log-in or log-out. See image.



How can I make this area either stay static and never move? I would like that area to be above my logo image?

How can I get the "Buy Now" and "Sold Out" boxes to line up at the bottom?

I would also like to remove the word "Details" just above the "Sold Out" button.

Only found issue with 1.54, 1.55 and 1.55a Have not tested any other versions. It is an issue with the base zen cart and so far I have found the issue in Responsive sheffield blue and the default zen cart templates.

What template is presented to mobile customers? What version of ZC (there's a known issue with ZC versions before 1.5.5 see Known issues with ZC 1.5.4.) There may also be issues associated with other aspects of the server setup related to mobile devices as a possibility. This is in addition to what is/was posted above in self response to this issue.

It looks like you edited the code incorrectly. You can add in the correct code again and then make your edits:

Looks like I edited the code incorrectly as well [but I don't know what went wrong here]. I reused the code as as stated here and the results is the same on all devices. Here's the test site: nachoffee.com

I had the same issue. Log in to your web hosting MySQL Database. Find the table called flexible_footer_menu. Look for page_id of 26. Update the links in the col_html_text. Hope that helps.
