I have all my products under products general, should I set up product types for each type of product?

I dont understand what you mean about an Outdated version of Additional images.php, I uploaded the most recent version of lightbox and renamed the my TEMPLATE Folder.

It is a fairly new install (a week prior to 1.3.6)

Using the 'products general' type is fine. By 'outdated version' I mean an old version of the additional_images.php file.

Also, I've just tried visiting the link you recently provided (to your site) and cannot see any additional images of the products. Is this right?

I just wanted to say thanks for this GREAT contribution! I've got it installed on my site which runs Zen Version 1.3.0.1 with IH2 and it works flawlessly. The image presentation looks so much better now.

I do have a quick question, what will happen if someone is viewing the site that has javascript disabled?

As previously mention (someone else posted it before me I think) the image will open in a new browser window. This is deafult Zen Cart code.

If anyone can think of a better way to handle images when jscript is disabled please let me know. :)

Alex, first of all, a big thank you for such a fantastic contribution! It looks absolutely amazing! I am relatively new to Zencart, and at this stage i have not installed the lightbox as yet. This is really due to the reason that (and i have seen this on many sites) that, if the page has not completely loaded, the images will just show up without any of the effects.

I was wondering, when would we expect to see an updated version that resolves this problem? perhaps if page has not completely loaded that it would revert back to the old popups? my main concern is for the few customers out there that are still using dialup.

I'm thinking of a way to solve this problem (as it was pointed out to me after the first release). The jscript file in question is 100kb and (you're right) it's a little chuncky for some of the old school dial up people.

If possible, I would like this file to be cached on the visitors pc and called whenever required (so it's not loaded during each page view of product_info_display.php). If this can be done it should solve the problem, but I'll have to look into it.

Keep an eye on this thread as I'll post all update news here.

There is no reason why you could not used Zen Lightbox with any version of Zen Cart. However, I've only tested it on 1.3.0.2, 1.3.5 and 1.3.6 (an update for Zen Lightbox will be released soon to fully support 1.3.6).

You could try backing up your site and installing Zen Lightbox. You'll probably need to tweak a few files, but give it a go and see what happens! :)
