    Thanks,

    Mr. Godiva
That is frustrating. You probably have already done this, but the only other thing I can think of is to run back through installation to be certain everything is there and in it's proper place. (keeping in mind the over-ride system)
Most importantly, I would check to be certain that the file modification(s) are in place (From the ReadMe...add the following to the end of /includes/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/common/tpl_footer.php and/or ...add the following to the end of /admin/includes/footer.php)

    I only have the /includes/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/common/tpl_footer.php installed.

    Again, best of luck

    Tim

    This just thinking out loud,

but I was wondering if we can put a Bookmark this Site so that the zenid is not recorded. I'm not sure if visiters would use it over other habits. The zenid appears to be involved in repeat visiters making the tracking a little hard to figure.

Has someone tried this with any success? and if so, how did you sit it up?

Then again, if the timestamps were also dated it would be better the way it is, that is, seeing a history "and" their recent visit.

    Hi Everyone

I have a bit of a problem with UT. I have using it for a long time now with not too many problems, but this morning when I logged, the session times were all wrong eg.

it is 12 midday here now
    and
user tracking states that it is
12 am, the start of a new day,

12:00 pm show up as 00:00 am, 01:00am show up as 13.00 pm

Anyone have any idea as to what may have caused this and has anyone else had this problem?

BTW My computer states the right time and day!!
    TIA

Sounds like it is showing your hosts local time.
In admin what time is shown?
Are you using the "Time zone offset" contrib, if so have you updated your site to 1.3.6 and not reinstalled the time zone offset contrib.
If not then all your time & dates on the orders & emails will be incorrect
The 1.3.6 version is coming real soon.

    Hi again Gilby

ok this is the time that is on my admin

    Sat, 04 Nov 2006 21:35:02 +1100GMT which is correct
This is what a user session is showing minus a few (not to be published stuff) details. This is the very first session you see when you option UT

Click Count: 3 Start Time: 23:45:38 Idle Time: -2:-11:00
End Time: 23:46:05 Total Time: 00:00:27

    Country: Japan
    IP Address: XXXXXXX
    Host: XXXXXXX
    Originating URL: http://www.heavenlynightslingerie.com.au/
    Backgound

I have at present 2 sites, one which is not live yet and one which is.

The live site, heavenlynightslingerie.com.au is running 1.3.5 on a US based server, is running the latest UT and does not have the "Time zone offset" contrib installed.

The other site which is not live yet is running on the same server, and does not have the "Time zone offset" contrib installed either, but is upgraded to 1.3.6 UT and is running fine, no time abnomalities.

    Time shown in Admin

    Sat, 04 Nov 2006 21:44:57 +1100GMT

    Session
Click Count: 4 Start Time: 16:27:52 Idle Time: 00:00:11
End Time: 21:44:46 Total Time: 05:16:54

    Country:
    IP Address: XXXX
    Host: XXXXX
    Originating URL: XXXXXXXX
Both of these site are pretty identical except one has the zen lightbox mod and is upgraded to 1.3.6. These are the only difference between the two sites and at the moment they are both sitting on the same domain.

Hope this helps, I am considering reinstalling the UT mod to see if that would make a change!!

    Hi Again

Ok I just had a look at the who's on-line feature and found a couple of odd sessions, don't know if this has anything to do with my prob or not with UT - sessions are below minus session ids

    22:25:02 0 ĄGuest 24.136.156.12 00:24:45 00:24:45
    Time Since Clicked:
    22:25:02
    ago Session ID: XXXXXXXX
    Host: user-0c8h70c.cable.mindspring.com
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
    /catalogue/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=26&products_id=120

    22:25:01 0 ĄGuest 24.136.156.12 00:24:46 00:24:46
    Time Since Clicked:
    22:25:01 ago
    Session ID: XXXXXXXX
    Host: user-0c8h70c.cable.mindspring.com
User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
    /catalogue/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=26&products_id=120
Both session are from the same ip address and both are still open from over 22 hours ago. I would have figured that both of these session should have expired by now.

Below is what my sessions are set to in admin configuration.

    Session Directory my website
    Cookie Domain True
    Force Cookie Use False
    Check SSL Session ID False
    Check User Agent False
    Check IP Address False
    Prevent Spider Sessions True
    Recreate Session True
    IP to Host Conversion Status
Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Sounds like its best to reinstall...

Be aware that UT gets confused with sessions that run over different days. It can't separate clicks between different days with the same session.

Here is one that had me confused for a while.

A customer had just completed a sale.
Checked whosonline, same customer shown with completed transaction.

Checked UT, saw a different customer had that session.
Checked the session details and worked out that 2 people used the same computer and both had logged in, one after the other.

Whosonline correctly showed the most recent logged on customer.
UT incorrectly showed the first person to log on.

Would be helpful in the tracking if we could who see had attempted to log in.

    update:

I decided to wait till morning to try the reinstall, but low and behold, went into UT and issue re: time difference had corrected itself.
