I've got a couple of oddities with 3.0.0-beta1

I've got (for various reasons) several products with the same item name.

If I turn on the SEO URLS then I can never get to a specific item - I can only drill into a list of objects matching the item name (and clicking on them just loops back to the list).

If I have category with a single item in it then I get a time out from Firefox which reports:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

Anyone else come across this?

I fixed it turning on Core: Default in the URL plugs-ins seemed to fix it

Did that fix both problems? Here's the message I was just about to send, for whatever it's worth:

My 3.0.0-beta1 places the ZC product ID in the URL, e.g. /Clutch-Head-Screwdrivers-p-17688 ... this prevents identically named products from generating identical URLs.

As for single-product categories, Steve, I have no problems there either.

Are you sure your server meets all of the prerequisites for Chemo's? What do your configuration settings look like? Assuming the server requirements are met and configuration settings are right, submit a report on the bug tracker (if you haven't already). That Josh is one fast debugger.

Speaking of Dreamscape, I must be one of several folks anxiously awaiting the next Chemo's release. Josh, if you're reading this, do let us know if there's anything you need that we might provide.

Actually I don't think its working properly at all!

Its giving me urls like:

index.php/product_info?products_id=45

when it is turned on, and

/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=35

When its turned off.

So I turned on a few more of the core modules and it now seems to be working OK.

Not sure why none of the core modules are enabled and of course the PDF for those isn't written yet

In that case, Steve, I would definitely post a complete report on the bug tracker. Even if it turns out to be something other than a bug, it can't hurt.

I've posted this issue in the Admin Profiles Section of the forum, and this issue happens when I install Admin profiles, and then later on trying to use this plugin, it does not appear in the menus. Just wondering if anyone has any methods of working around the issue that allows me to display the SEO menus in admin....

Are you using the SEO URLs 3.0.0 beta1, or the one from the Downloads section?
