another thing how would you go about adding the new phone and fax numbers to the contact us pages?

This can be done here: store/includes/languages/english/html_includes/TEMPLATE_OVERRIDE/
If you are using the template override system if not then it would be store/includes/languages/english/html_includes/

Hope this helps you abit. I am installing super orders in a store so I knew exactly where that was, just did as a matter of fact.

really like to see what you can do with this module i also get this added line when i look at my invoices and print them out Fed Tax ID #FED_TAX_ID_NUMBER

You didn't install the SQL properly. This defineis stored in the configuration table. It should appear in Admin > Configuration > Super Orders. It will be hidden as long as it's installed properly, and has an empty value.

allright i went and took off the code the posted the fed tax thingy on the invoice.

how would i go in my sql database and fix this manually so that Admin > Configuration > Super Orders actually appears and in the admin section and i can fix the fed tax thingy. there is no backup of the database that's worth looking at. as i've been learning how to do this as i go and i believe i attempted to install this mod months ago unsuccessfully and just continued upgrading and running my store so i don't have a back-up of a before i installed this sql patch

also i noticed that my months order total is different when i calculate super orders then on my sales report, i'm wondering what could be going on

just noticed today that orders from out of province state NONE! in te tax table when it should really state 6%, the taxes calculated at the end is ok just not a big fan of this NONE! printed on the invoice

The SQL file didn't install properly, so that's what you have to do. Go back to the contrib download, grab the SQL file, and start comparing the lines of the file to your DB. You'll need to use phpMyAdmin.

SQL code is pretty easy to break down: look for a table with the name and fields specified when it says "CREATE TABLE"; look for specific table entries where it says "INSERT INTO."

If anything is missing or incomplete, delete the bad entry and rerun the associated line from the SQL file. You just copy and paste the code into the SQL box (click the "SQL" tab along the top).

How are you calculating in the Sales Report? The Sales Report gives provide a huge range of options, make sure they are set properly. See the readme for details. What SO report are you comparing to?

I can't speak for edit orders, but the Sales Report and Super Orders work just fine together. I know that because I wrote both, and use them in my own store. The next version of Super Orders will actually have the Sales Report bundled with it.

As for edit orders, I am working on replicating the intended functionality of that mod, also for the next release. The problem with that contrib is that it is based on a very old contrib. I actually included a modified version of it in the first SO release.

Fix the SQL file as described above and this problem should go away. The FED_TAX_ID_NUMBER define does some magic with tax displays on the invoice and packing slip.

Testing locally still but just tried to do a batch status update and got this error.

1264 Out of range value adjusted for column 'customer_notified' at row 1
in:
[INSERT INTO fmorders_status_history (orders_id, orders_status_id, date_added, customer_notified, comments) VALUES ('3844', '2', now(), '', '')]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Just 5 orders on same day.

Any fixes? If I missed it in the thread forgive me it is rather a long topic now.

thank you for the quick reply i hope i have time in the next few days to take a look at the phpadmin thingy which i hope won't be to hard as i have never attempted it before.

I have at last gone live with my upgrade so on version 1.3.7 Yippeeee!

However couple of small niggles.

First one I have posted above regarding the error when using the batch update status.

The second question is regarding the payment gateway and how do I get orders placed using a credit card over the web through the protx gateway to come up in Super orders with the payment details and status as paid.

If I have missed the instructions some where I apologies. I am hoping that I do not have to enter the payment details for every order that goes through the web sight and protx okay.

I installed super orders on a 1.3.7 site and everything is working fine in the admin, but when you click to confirm your order (last stage of checkout), you get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/blablabla/includes/classes/order.php on line 891

When I remove the chunk of code needed for super orders from order.php, the order goes through just fine.

Here is the code that seems to be causing me trouble:
