I feel so bad for initiating this conflict, but please do not be mad and YOU COUNT WITH A FRIEND ON ME! EVEN THOSE WE DO NOT KNOW EACH OTHER!. I love making new friends because if you have people wherever you go then you have most of the things you need. But it is really funny, since I moved from my contry to USA it has been very difficult for me to accomplish this 100%. What I realice is that most of the people go to the bar or discoteck and over there make friendship. Then I do not like that kind of live that much, I define myself like a very peaceful person. I can visit a bar or discoteck once in a while. And other thing over here is that every body is normaly involved in he/her owns activities and do not have too much time left. So what can I do if not go with the flow!. I know this is something personal but just I told you so you can see a little of what kind of person I am.

    Hi Linda,

I am back to the office today, so that's why I have not replied back to y ou.

I change both files includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php to point to mysql.webhero.com (mysql5 version). Let explain you the following:

The error message I was having before installing the new Zen Cart is the following when traying to open a product: 1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause'. I created two new products to figure out what the problem is. The product were created successfully but did not show up on the shopping cart, not even on the total of products show next to the category). This is why I tried installing the new Zen Cart version 1.3.7.

Now, after the update to both configure.php files, the correct quantity of products is show in parenthesis next to the category. But when selecting the category no products are displayed for the selecte one and received the same message (1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause') underneath to the category description.

I also looked over the Tool/Server Info and the information on it is the following:

    Server Information

    Server Host: neptune (192.168.1.21)
    Database Host: mysql.webhero.com (209.217.33.160)

    Database: MySQL 5.0.27-standard-log
    Server Date: 05/02/2007 15:54:44

The Zen Cart Logo and then the following:

    Zend Memory Manager enabled
    Thread Safety disabled
Registered PHP Streams php, http, ftp, https, ftps, compress.zlib

The following information point to the Zen Cart logo showing the sign "Powered by ZenCart":
This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies with eAccelerator v0.9.5, Copyright (c) 2004-2006 eAccelerator, by eAccelerator with Zend Extension Manager v1.0.9, Copyright (c) 2003-2005, by Zend Technologies with Zend Optimizer v2.6.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2005, by Zend Technologies

In addition to this is all the Configuration information, which I did not include because is a lot.

    My questions:
    1) Is there any way that I can see the differences between the Zen Cart versino 1.2.7 and the Zen Cart version 1.3.7.?
    2) Why do you think I am getting the same message but now after selecting the category and no getting any product displayed for that category? How could I solve this problem?
    3) Is it suppouse to show the new Zen Cart version on Tool/Server Info?
    4) The Web Hero people say that the installation was successful, same thing I got on the upgrade screen message but currently I see all the files with the "Last Update date" been the same as before the upgrade and not changes at all are show over any program (files) in any directory. What can I do to verify that my installation was upgraded properly?

Please help me on this matter, Linda! I need to keep going on this project!

Thank you very much for all your help.

Congratulations! At least you find a way to keep the system working! Good luck in solving the issu in whole!

The drink would not be a problem to me. I am not a drinker, if I have some social drinks (a beer or cup of wine or a little wiski, is OK with me). But I feel very happy with any natural juice!.

    I am confused ...

You say you installed v1.3.7 ... but I am seeing this:
    Zen Cart 1.2.7
    Database Patch Level: 1.2.7

Are your two configure.php files using the same directories and database information?

Be sure to check the files on the server:
    /includes/configure.php
    /admin/includes/configure.php

    Hi Linda,

That's part of my problems; I am confused also! Because when I run the Upgrada process the final message over the windows siad that the upgradade was successful. But every things are still the same.

I changed both program to point to the new mysql5 (mysql.webhero.com):
    /includes/configure.php
    /admin/includes/configure.php

They are also pointing to the correct database name, which was supousely updated from v1.2.7 to v1.3.7.

But as you can see the shopping page is still pointing to V1.2.7 and I do not understand the reason why if every thing was done successfuly.

If you'd like I can resend the information explaining what I did to better clarify this issue.

Should you need more information please let me know ASAP.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Linda,

I re-run the Upgrade Process updating one version at a time: It is from 1.27 to 1.30, then from 1.30 to 1.3.01; and so on until I reached the 1.3.7.

I did that in serires, that's only changing the version on the screen and hitting the Upgrade Database button. I do not know if after running one ve rsion I have to completely get out of the program by hitting the Done with Updates button and then go back to update the next version. There is a possibility that the process updates all versions at the same time but that I do not know. Coudl you pease tell me how it works?

Now the Tools/Server Info is showing the following (There are a lot more parameters but I just typed down the most important ones:
    - Database Host: mysql.webhero.com (209.217.33.160)
    - Database: MySQL 5.0.27-standard-log
    - PHP Version: 4.4.4 (Zend: 1.3.0)
    - Zen Cart 1.2.7
    - Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

I think the data base was updated but no the programs.

I am continue to receive the same message (1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause')

According you see the scenarious, Could you p lease tell me which the next step to take place?

    Best Regards,

    Eadhames Lopez
