Im about half way through building a new website, and Im at the point now where im starting to change colours/fonts and logos from the default.

Yesterday in work I inserted the company logo, although it was a much larger image than we intend on using, it fitted in ok, and looked quite nice. When I got home, and checked it on a different computer, the logo appeared to be behind all the writing, I couldnt work out how on one computer it looked fine yet on another it was completely wrong, anyway I managed to set the overwrap at home and got the image and writing all looking nice,and where it should be. I am now back at work and the image now has a massive white space around it, check out www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/shop and see for yourself. The only thing I was having difficulties with was changing the default logo size, in other words when the zencart logo was there, if I made the px size 4 times as big, and then check the website, there was no change in the logo.

Can anybody help me out please.

Inconsistencies in display across browsers are usually an indication that there's an error in your code or CSS. They can also be due to Internet Explorer bugs, but in practise these are less common.

In this case it's the former. Your logo is 550px high (which is excessive) but you have set your logoWrapper height to just 380px. Firefox is opening up the wrapper to allow the logo to be displayed in clear space. Internet Explorer is executing your instruction to restrict it to 380px.

Also, although most of your product images have been appropriately optimised for web display, your pipercross images are 1.89MB bitmaps.

Finally, if you validate your site you will find an HTML error - possibly originating from changes that you have made in your language files (though difficult to tell from the browser side).

Going back onto the main logo, shall i make the wrapper the same size as the image, but even set at the current 350x, it gives a large white space around logo, wouldnt making the wrapper 550px make the empty white space even larger.

It may not be high on your list of priorities, but you asked people to "look at my website" and not everybody has unlimited bandwidth, so this shows a marked lack of respect for other forum users.

The whitespace isn't around the logo - it is embedded in the logo. If you don't want it, it would be best to crop the image and then set the height to reflect the new image size.
