I found the code in the CSS file included, and copied that to my template Stylesheet. I put it at the end, but I didn't think that would matter.

It's the Java Script file that is causing the problem. If I rename it I don't get the pop up in the header section. I don't get a pop up at all, and that's O.K. , but with that file renamed I don't get an enlarged image when I click on the product image file. I'm using the Gloss_Blue template, and I think there is something in there telling the java script to show in the header section.

Here is a follow up post. I've done a full restore from a backup made just before the install (I didn't delete any files before the restore), and everything is back to normal except clicking on any link opens a new window.
Is this a setting somewhere? The install has changed something that the restore has not overwritten, so I'm thinking it's a setting. I've also in IH2 used the 'remove from database' option, and it reported it was successful.

This appears to be a new one!

I've just installed Zen Cart 1.3.7 and then Image Handler 2 (from the downloads section of this site).

After installing I setup IH2 as normal (I've done this many times before). But it doesn't work.

When I load any page of my site (that includes a product image) the page will just stop loading. I receive no errors or missing images.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Also, has anyone installed IH2 on 1.3.7 (fresh install) yet? If so, could they post quick instructions?

    Thanks! :)

I used the instructions that come with the last version of IH2. Installed on ZC 1.37 just fine.

Are you observing files written to directories in bmz_cache? If not check your cache permissions. If so you may want to try clearing the contents of the entire cache directory.

Nothing shows up in your web server error log?

    Hi Woody,

I think IH2 does not work with PHP 5.2.1. I've switched to PHP 4.4.5 and it seems to work.

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this one. My error log contains nothing and no error messages are sent to the browser (when trying to get IH2 working on PHP 5.2.1).

    Strange. :|

Almost everything is back to normal. I'm missing a sidebox, but that's no biggie.
I think the problem was a mix between the Template, and something in the Overrides. After a full restore all was back to normal except that clicking on any link would create a new window. Now, that I don't have a clue, but changing to the default Template stopped that. Then I copied the files from my old Template to the Classic directory, and I had my old template back.
Now, Checkout Without Account, Free Shipping Icon, and some small changes to the display didn't work, moving files (one by one ) from the old Overrides directory to the new Overrides directory has everything running great.
I still plan to use IH2, but not the Pop Up's. It appears that just installing the Definitions, and Modules will give me the image processing part, and not installing the Template files should work.

I'm having difficulty getting ih_manager.php to FTP. It says file or directory doesn't exist. I noticed it after I got the error messages below when uploading this module Went to look at these two files and found that ih_manager.php in fact doesn't exist.

Warning: main(includes/ih_manager.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mysite/admin/image_handler.php on line 153

Warning: main(includes/ih_manager.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mysite/admin/image_handler.php on line 153

Warning: main(includes/ih_manager.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mysite/admin/image_handler.php on line 153

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/ih_manager.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/mysite/admin/image_handler.php on line 153

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Thanks so much for your help,

    Lisa

    Hi
I may have found a fix for the bad behaviour of ie6 by pushing the zoom image too high nearly off the page, when clicking on images at the bottom end of a lot of picture product listings.

Its a simple mod to the ih2 jscript file...

I remember the odd post here a while back, similarly complaining the zoom window goes too high sometimes

Disregard my question above about the errors. If anyone else experiences the same errors it was an easy fix...a simple permissions problem. Once I changed permissions in my admin and admin/includes files to writable I was able to FTP the ih_manager.php file and all works fine now.
