User tracking mod

Hi all,

I had some trouble with the mod, re-installed it and everything seemed to work fine...UNTIL...I entered my site and put a product in the shopping cart, then entered amin user tracker and it shows this product in User Shopping Cart, but in another Session ID from another IP, btw I blocked my IP.

What happened? Any idea?

i am often seeing lines like this in the user tracking module:

I see this when i view a session, the file is one of the templates' images, the one which makes up the sidebox background. The funny thing is that the image is not clickable, and there is no way they could have gotten to click on a link to that image. This often occurs when they are viewing any page especially the download free mp3 page.

another strange one is:

04:22:52: Page Not Found /favicon.ico

Why is user tracking frequently reporting this stuff?

I really like this user tracking mod. I recently had an idea but am not code savvy enough to implement it. I was curious if there is any way (or even an interest from anyone besides myself) to add a notification feature to this mod.

I will explain,

I have some ip's that visit my site I like to keep close eye's on (such as competitor websites) I was curious how difficult it would be to add on a notification feature to this mod that notifies me by email, sms, or both when one of these ip's visit my site. I know this is a stretch. My business takes me on the go a lot so I am not always able to sit down and browse the tracking log to see what they are up to. I just simply need to know when they visit and who so I know where to look when I return to my office.

If somthing like this already exists, I would be greatful for any insight you can provide,

Just tried installing this contrib and ran into an SQL error. I followed the install instruction and tried to apply the patch through phpmyadmin. It seems that the patch won't apply this way if you are using a prefix for tables in your database.

However the problems was easily fixed by applying the patch through admin > Tools > Install Sql Patches. This seems to append the table prefix to the sql query.

just though you might want to know.

Hi again,
I love the contrib. Great work.

I am interested in filtering / excluding results based on my HOST not IP (as I have a dynamic IP that seems to change very regularly).

Has anyone had success with this? I think it would be a great feature.

Or alternativly, has anyone worked out a neat way to analyze the information? Perhaps find out some stats, turn the data into reports. etc.

When I try to install the sql patch, I get the following error:

DELETE FROM ol_configuration WHERE ol_configuration_group_id = '999';

MySQL said: Documentation
#1054 - Unknown column 'ol_configuration_group_id' in 'where clause'

This method fixed my problem. It's misleading b/c the readme says to use phpMyAdmin

Is anyone else getting this with the user tracking. When you are just browsing through the categories, each page is recorded in the user tracking as page not found. If you click on an item it will record the item. But everything in between comes up page not found.

nice mod...lots of chatter...I do have an issue though....

I blocked my IP but it didnt block it. I ask it to purge all records for this IP and it doesnt....is there another setting or something that would enable the IP functions?
