    Default IE6/7 display issue with center boxes...

    I've noticed that the bottom border of my center boxes stops half way down!

    This only happens in IE6 and IE7. FF2 is fine.

    The problem can be viewed at the link (adult toys website) below:

    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance! :)

    Try adding the following to your stylesheet
    .centerBoxContentWrapper {overflow:auto}
    to force IE to calculate a height for the div.

    I just found another display problem with IE6/7.

    If only 2 items are displayed in the centerBox they are shown one below the other (instead of side by side).

    For example...

    Is there an easy way to sort this using css?

    No easy fix using CSS unfortunately, as the problem is likely to flow from the inline CSS used to set the width of the div containing the product info. This CSS can't be over-written. Hopefully as Zen Cart evolves, this will change.

    In the meantime, there's an explanation here of what I suspect is happening on your when it's viewed via IE. The relevant stuff kicks in from post 6.

    The solution would be slightly different for you as you would need to find the php that embeds this CSS inline for the centerBoxContentsAlsoPurch div and tweak that in a similar fashion to that suggested in the thread mentioned in the previous paragraph.

    Thanks for this. I'll have a read and see what I come up with.

    At the moment I'm suffering from major IE7 issues on my desktop (not Zen Cart Related). It seems to use 100% of my cpu when I view certain web pages and then doesn't release it. So, it just keeps on using 100% of my resources!

    Yeah... I have a few hosting issues at the moment. Should be sorted now. I really need to reinstall my server and will probably do so in the next few days.

    I tried this and it did not work for me. Does it need to be put somewhere in particular in the styleshee? Here is a link to my test shop: www.vintageknits.net/new_store

    This is the last hurdle that I have to get over before completing my upgrade.
