Have downloaded V3 but have a very simple 'chicken and egg' question.

I feel a bit stupid asking this but does it make any difference which action we take first ie upgrade to V3 first and then activate the Protx 3D Secure option or the other way round. I mean, I assume V2 will still work with Protx 3D Secure, if we activate first before installing V3.

Thanks very much for that, it's great to see some people using the module! (Although it was released yesterday we've pegged in tomorrow as the proper announcement date to give us time to have the site in place and create a new thread here etc.)

Version 2.x will not work with 3D-Secure, please don't enable 3D-Secure in your VSP Admin until you have version 3 installed! Your site could stop working for any 3D-Secure enabled cards then!

Simply install version 3 as per the upgrade instructions and then pop into your VSP admin and enable 3D-Secure... it's as easy as that!

As promised, those who donated after 18th April will receive a full credit against the module of the amount they donated - just have to get the gift certificate aspect of the store sorted!

That'll be up and running this afternoon so we'll get your certificate off to you then. (Which in your case is rather large, thanks ;) ).

This means you'll have an account on the site where you can download updates as soon as they're released and you'll get a full tax invoice for your business records (and who running a business doesn't like to write off the tax? :) ).

Hi,

This is an important announcement!

A major bug has been fixed in version 3.0.x and all users of 3.0.0 or 3.0.1 MUST upgrade!

The upgrade is simple, no reinstallation is required, just a few updated files have to be copied across.

Please visit the store to download the updated version.. the filenames for the zips are the same but they have been updated (as can be seen by the new version number inside).

Sorry about the inconvenience, but Protx have to take the blame for this one!

Yes, yes and yes.

You can use the module without SSL but not as many customers will buy from you.

SSL is easily added to your site by your host though and can cost as little as $15 a year so it's not a big deal!

Alternatively, Protx Form allows the use of Protx and Streamline without you having to have a SSL certificate:
