RSS2 feed contribution support

Andrew said he finished it quite some time ago and that he was sending it to Woodymon to document the installation and usage. Unfortunately, Andrew has now disappeared and not answering any PM's regarding the RSS 2.0 module. .

Andrew stated he no longer needed doc assist but needed mod testing assist. However I never received the new version. I hope he is ok and re-emerges some time. Andrew has put out some dandy mods over time and provided quality assistance.

I have the old RSS2 mod but it is on a PC hard drive 100 miles from my current location.

Hi everyone!

I'm just posting here in order to watch this thread. I need a copy of this mod, any version, latest version, whatever.

I really need to add this VERY important capability to my site. It'll be one of my main marketing tools.

If someone would send me a copy of whatever WAS the latest version, while we wait for 2.0 from Andrew???

Woodymon, as the member with the most experience with version 1.5.7, could you please write a simple readme.txt file so that we can take advantage of this script?

We may never see version 2...

Installing as is does not display the price in IE...

I would love love love love LOVE this mod too. Does anyone have it to post or email? I've look all over this board and thread with no luck.

I don't need fancy prices, etc. Just the basic version will work great for me so I don't want to wait for the update.

It seems there are two contribs floating around right now, but I'm a little confused...

v1.1.0.2 seems to be a later version, as it includes a description cleaner (strips html), but the date is off.

Is there anything more resent available?

PS I'm trying to add the autodiscovery link- will it not work with this file? I added the code yahoo suggested:

to my html_header.php, but I still don't get the symbol that it's working (the orange box on Firefox) and I tried to add it after <channel> in the rss2.php file but still no luck.

Does anyone know how to get this hooked up with autodiscovery?
