I had the same issue recently. It turned out that read/write permissions were not set correctly on the bmz_images folder.

So what did you do to correct this? I'm pretty new to zen and I dont like messing with anything until Im 100% sure.

This is what the IH2 documentation says:

Make sure that the "bmz_cache" folder's permissions match those of your
images folder (e.g 0777, 0775 or 0755).

Do you have a link to this site? Also, what server are you running?

Yes my premissions are the same. Cant belive i didnt check.
I have a link to my site in my signature.

I think its all ok now.

So you changed your folder permissions and that fixed it?

Alex,

My images folder, all folders inside and "bmz_cache" are set to 777. I have also had a problem that results in the following error littered randomnly through out my site:

Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/content/p/i/p/pipsmker/html/includes/classes/bmz_image_handler.class.php on line 531

After I had changed all the permissions to 777 that error showed up alot less but it seems to be back again.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Josh

No, its still pretty slow..
Might be Godaddy's servers..

I called Godaddy today and found that I was having a bandwith issue. I upgraded hosting account (increased my bw) but its still slow...

Maybe it takes sometime for the changes to go live. Wait a couple of days and, if nothing has improved, then think about switching hosts.

I found this to be the same if using large original pics. The difference between using IH on your PC and live is huge!
I now reduce the original first or it takes too much time.
