and if you're thinking about future enhancements then to be able to filter the current cross sells by category would be good...

Great time saving mod though - I've got hundreds to do!

I note that the original cross sell has to be installed first, but that one is not specifically 1.3.7 - and some of the YOUR_TEMPLATE directories are not in all the 1.3.7 directories.

Are you able to include all the files necessary for the install in your own download, and so have as one package???

I am looking to install cross sell and this mod. Are there any site samples of the customer's POV? I want to see how it looks.

I installed the original one on my site(1.3.7) with no problem as all, so it should work for you. Do that on your test site first tho. And I will think about including those files on my next version, need to look at the "term of use" tho.

New version Alpha rev 39 has been added to the download section and should be available for download soon. If you are impatient, get the files at my svn (the link is on the first post of this thread)


This version introduces a new feature that some of you requested:
You can now do one-way cross sell, you can cross sell one product to many others (and not vice versa). With this feature added, this mod now can completely replace the old Advanced Cross Sell mod.

Hi,

I downloaded the original cross sell a while back and never managed to get it working. I didn't have a chance to post anything about it. Basically my error is that when cross sell is enabled and I have set some products up to link. How ever when I go the the product that is being cross sold at the bottom it says "we also recommend" but then there are NO products showing below that.
I installed your version as your installation guide advised, keeping the original version etc. And have set some products up again and still I get the same. The title displays at the bottom but still no products.

I'm wondering if you have come across this issue before and know how to solve it? I have checked the MySQL Database and it appears to be writting info to it no problems, so I am a little stuck.
