Apple Zen Support Thread

I have just installed this factastic template, and i love it, but i'm having a problem when i use the checkout area when i go to the second step i get a blank page.
Help please

What version of zen cart are you using?

Does this happen if you switch to the classic template?

Hi Jettrue,

I like your drop-down menu. But when my product categories have too many sub-level below, it seems a bit annoying later to navigate through the drop down menu flying across the entire screen..

is there a way i can specify how many levels of fly-out.. say after 3 sublevel down, the rests of the category are listed within the last sublevel in the main content area? is this possible?

They're all centered, my guess is (i've seen this before) that you didn't comment out the colors correctly. Be *very* careful with the comments. Could I see a link?

Ah, got it. I see now how that works, I'm a very big newb at all of this, so I figured out what I missed on the commenting thing, and now it works. Thanks so much. I love this template btw.

Try TEXTAREA#enquiry (i think its funny that "enquiry" is spelled "encorrectly") :-)

You could also target that specific page, like this:

#contactusBody TEXTAREA

Ah, this is what I was looking for!

I was using TEXTAREA.enquiry ... ;)

(enquiry appears to be a British variant)

Also, if you look closely at tpl_contact_us_default.php I think you'll agree the LABEL for message is missing class="inputLabel" ...

I also changed this to include a subject line. Strange that the base zencart doesn't do that by default.

yes, open up includes/classes/categories_ul_generator.php

and try changing $max_level to 3. Then try different #'s till it flies out to the category level you want it to.

but the apple_zen folder is missing in this location.

Sorry I replaced the folder/file from the apple zen download . I must have deleted/moved it by mistake.

I do however have another question.

I would like to remove the CREATE ACCOUNT (which I have renamed) tab from the header.

Just open up includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_drop_menu.php and remove it there.

1. on my drop down categories there is an additional box with nothing in it next to the "shopping cart". how do i remove it?

2. I would like to put some wording to the right of the logo. what page do put that in?

3. I would like to add a google web search either at the very top of the page or on the left next to "welcome guest"
