Chemo's Ultimate URL's

HI just installed Ultimate_SEO_URLs_v2.105. However, I could not find the SEO URLS in Admin>Configration. Appreciate if anybody can let me know how can I enable this mod.

I am using Zen cart V1.3.7 and the shopping cart is not working after this mod is installed.

I suggest that try to re-install the mod and follow the instructions EXACTLY, becausethe mod works, and IMHO the chances are at least 95% that the installation is at fault, particularly if you can't see it in the Admin!!

I saw your web http://ho-hose.co.uk/store/index.php and you have nice seo urls like this http://www.ho-hose.net/store/Vintage...p-3/chapter-20 . I mean category (Vintage-Hosiery-Adverts-ezp-3 and so on) in url.
I've just installed SEO URL 3.0.0 beta. I have only name of products in my urls - no category. What is the problem?

Don't forget that the Magic SEO COSTS and you have to maintain a link to their web site!!

What follows may be dumb, but...
So, is SEO URL turned on on your web site? If so, then turn it off via the Admin and check to see if the problems occur. If not then SEO URL is the culprit.

Reinstall and ensure that you precisely follow ALL the steps given in the PDF manual (downloadable from here) - assuming that you use version 3.00beta - and check again.

Be totally thorough - the chances are that it's not the mod, but the installation.

I have done all what you suggested, but still have the problem.

If I turn the mod on, the browser hangs
If I turn it off, everything works just fine.

I have uninstalled it, re-installed it, set it with mod rewrite on, and off,
and every other possible setting.

I installed it every time going by the PDF manual, but no use.
I am gonna give it one more go today and if not I will have to pay.
I emailed the people from Magic...
about the link, and they said that they can give a version without the link
if the customer specifically asks.

Did you have the previous version 2.105 installed?

If so, ensure that you have removed ALL the previous 2.105 stuff from the .htaccess file. (i didn't at first and had probs)

Have you checked with your web host that your server supports mod rewrites?

How about setting up a dummy store (in a different sub-directory) from scratch and install just this mod? That should prove that it works. If it doesn't, then it's either the installation or your server's settings.

BTW 95% of problems related to this mod seem to be related to incorrect installation.

Is this the ONLY mod that you have installed? If not, did you follow up my suggestion to clean install to a different subfolder and thereafter install the mod?

Did you install all the 'updates' to the mod from the web site? (They are included in the attachment to an earlier post by me)
