Default Updating customer delivery / billing address

    My site is www.wholehealthstore.co.uk.

There seems to be a problem whenever a customer attempts to add a new delivery address, change the billing address or other such things, in that when the user selects the country and submits the form, they are returned to the same page with the message:

You must select a country from the Countries pull down menu.

Even though it has obviously already been entered.

I can't explicitly remember testing this function, so I can't remember whether it has ever worked.

    Zen Cart 1.3.6
    MySQL 4.1.22
    PHP 4.3.8

We are using a template fromt Template Monster (which I am sensing based on other posts was not wise), but I'm not familiar enough with the templating system to know whether one of their files overrides the ZC version, and therefore should be them I'm asking, so apologies in advance if it's not a ZC 'bug'

    Any pointers would be great

There were a number of changes made in v1.3.5, v1.3.6, and v1.3.7 related to the address input fields.
In order to benefit from those fixes, you need to be sure that your custom template files have incorporated those fixes.

Since you've purchased a third-party template (which is likely not designed for your v1.3.6 site explicitly), you likely are suffering from a version mismatch and are not benefitting from the fixes that were incorporated into v1.3.7.

You'll need to upgrade your custom template to match the version of software you're using. And while you're at it, perhaps plan to do a full upgrade to the latest release.

Thanks for that, I'll go digging. Can you tell me which files deal with this function please? I've searched the site, but I can't find the answer...

    Thanks for the help.

Which form are you wanting to validate? Address inputs happen in several places.
What are you wanting to change?
