Shop functioning weird, please help

Version: MySQL v4. its still the same

no absolutly not. btw is tax but other settings like html mail arent working for new members either.

Not necessary aas I believe tht you have these set as you say they are - - but something happened around 10/16 and only you and your host know what these might be

You said that when new customers register they don't get "the settings".
But can you see those customers in your Admin area?
When they're on the website, do they show up in the Admin->Tools->Whos-Online area?
Do the old customers show up there too?

It seems to me like you've got two separate databases, and somehow your new customers are seeing a different database for some reason, which as mentioned by someone earlier suggests that a database cluster is out of sync.

I do can see the customers in the admin area, they also show up in admin>> Tools>> whos online? and the old customers also showing up with the new ones.

Its really weird , its all working and perfoming. Its just the settings like sending html email and calculating cat is not apllied for the new users.

Could you please go to my shop and make a test account, put a product in the cart and go to step 2 - 3 of checking out. Is there any 19% vat calculated in there?

From what ive read it sounds like it has nothing to due with the customer side of the database but configuration table and maybe configuration group table, do u have a backup of your database prior to the problem, If you do open the SQL file in a text editor and extract both tables and restore them to your Database, you will not lose any of your product info or customer info, you would lose any configuration changes made after the backup and you would need to reset them back in the admin section,

Okay guys i have tried to do some research.

I have asked 6 of my friends from six different locations to make a new (test) account and to see if the settings are applied for them.

Location 1 to 4 :Singed up , the settings are applied succesfully but the 19% vat is not applied as 19% but as 15.98%. also the html email is send succesfully


Location 5 to 6: signed up, they are seeing the prices excl. vat and html not send. text email is send

ps: I have set the email setings to send standard html instead text.


guys, i am not getting it anymore. how come the four locations did get the settings applied and the other two not.
