Layout should not overlap....must be a css setting or something.

Without actually seeing your site, we can only make wild guesses. This is going to be about the interaction of your HTML and your CSS which can't be seen in a screenshot.

This added to your stylesheet will clear the immediate problem

#crossSell {clear:both}

But there are also a number of structural problems on the page, such as tags not closed properly and DIVs inside links where they're not allowed that should really be dealt with.

Do you think the other problems you mentioned on my page are from the upsell, cross-sell contribution? Or something else....?

I'm having similar problems with my line 17 after installing Cross Sell and the Cross Sell Advanced.

I can use the config portion without any problems but when it displays on the page, I get the following error:

That's because you're now using Also Purchased instead of Cross Sell. To fix the problem for Also Purchased you would need to add

#alsoPurchased{clear:both}

This looks like an installation problem. Check that your xsell_definitions.php file has made it into your includes/extra_definitions folder.
