Is it possible to produce a .txt file instead of an xml one?
I prefer the txt file as it is easier to work with and I like to add additional product information to it. The size of a txt file is also less than half of the equivalent xml file.

OK, I got the mod working. The file is created with all my stuff in it, but when I try to view it, I get:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://www.doodlebuckets.com/store/f...n_products.xml
Line Number 4, Column 30:<title>Doodlebuckets Mother & Baby Store</title>
-----------------------------^
and I cannot import it into Excel because of this error. Help please!

Looks like I need to put a filter on the titles you guys are inputting in the configuration. For now, please use & instead of & in the configuration for any fields that are included as text in the feed.
I've corrected this in the current unreleased version (1.6.4). Many new additions including Magic SEO URL support. I'm just a little reluctant to release it because MSU is a commercial script that costs $89 and I'll probably not see ten cents from my addition. Either way, I'll at least release all of the bug fixes in the next couple of days... and there are a lot hehe.

Motti, are you confusing the Google Base Feeder with the RSS script again? I have been developing an add-on for the RSS script to use Magic SEO URLs as well, but it won't be freely available and therefore I cannot publicize it in the forum. I will however add a link and description to my website ;)

Hello Folks,
I have tried to install the newest version. My older version got me dissaproved from Froogle for pricing issues, so I thought that I would try the newer version. I get errors when when I try to run the sql. It says something like keys already exist. When I run it, It runs but says 0 records processed. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this. I came across a thread that was about the same problem, and he said it was in his admin but did'nt say how to fix it. I have my admin renamed and copied the files into the appropriate folder.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
You do not need to re-apply the install.sql patch if you are upgrading from a previous version. Instead, please use the upgrade patches between your current version and the latest version (if they exist). Then upload all of the files in the package, overwriting the old ones.
If you do not know your previous version, please run the uninstall.sql and reinstall the install.sql. You will need to re-enter your admin configuration settings. These steps are described in the readme.txt. Perhaps it should be called the ignoreme.txt![]()
