Would this fix also cure uploads? When I try to upload to googlebase, the popup window comes up and just times out with a page not found. Any ideas? Thanks by the way for a nice mod!

I got it to work. I modified your sql, a little and deleted those extra records and it allowed me to exec the googlefroogle.sql file with no errors. I still have to upload my feed and see if it works.

If you can't upload then the issue is to do with restrictions from your host not allowing ftp functions from your installed scripts. I would confidently say that no FTP script will work for you. You can try by downloading a generic FTP script in php and see if you can execute it to send a file to google base.

I tried the 1.6.5 patch and I'm not getting any error messages anymore - just the successful one now.

After uploading, should I be able to see the file if I connect to uploads.google.com via an FTP client because right now I don't see it?

i also updated the googlefroogle.php to 1.6.5 but i am having worse results than before

i went from xml error on google base to it timing out in both ie & firefox when the script is running
it doesn't create the xml file properly

any ideas?

also it creates the file as "secret_garden.xml_.xml" but in the configuration i have Output File Name = secret_garden.xml where is the xtra _.xml coming from?

hmm, why would your configuration settings have changed? All you had to do was overwrite the files. Anyways, it says to just use a word like "domain." So, in your case just put secret_garden. Then it should create a file called secret_garden_products.xml.

This upgrade made no changes to the code other than to the FTP so there is no reason for it to timeout if the previous version worked for you...

installed the Google Base Feeder 1.5.3 into Zen Cart 1.3.7.1 with SEO URLs and Easy Populate as addons. First copied all the files and directories, set dir feed to 777, then did all the sql updates update_1_4_3.sql, update_1_4_9.sql, update_1_5_0.sql, update_1_5_2.sql, update_1_5_3.sql and then did the googlefroogle.sql all via copy and paste. went into Google Base Feeder config set the user / pass, store URL. Then went to execute the Google Base Feeder in the TOOLS menu and all I get is this: TEXT_GOOGLE_FROOGLE_STARTED
TEXT_GOOGLE_FROOGLE_FILE_LOCATION/home/bidet/public_html/store/feed/gotbidet.xml
Processing: Feed - No, Upload - No

When I upload my products by Google Base Feeder, all processes was ok, but items doesn't appear at google at all. Can anyone help?

Appears to logon correctly but not sure why it fails.

Would the 1.6.5. patch help here?

You can try, that was the point of v1.6.5 to fix the loops for pasv on and off.
