    WORKAROUND

I found a workaround for this issue. This works only because I have less than 200 items, it is still time consuming. I was updated some items and continued to check the google feeder just in case something I did made a difference. I noticed that when I created new items they would be added to the feed. I updated a product availability date and BAM the old item got recognized by the feed script. So, I went through each item and updated it's availability date, I also found some mis-matched master category ID's.

    This issue is resolved.

First, I have researched the problem on the forums and elsewhere to the best of my ability and can't find anything that helps solve it, hopefully someone can shed some light.

I have installed zen cart 1.3.7, mods; Google Base Feeder (latest version as of this date), Simple Google Analytics (installed after GBF) and Image Handler 2.

Everything appears to be installed correctly, no errors and no errors in the server error log. But when I run the product feed update it runs perfect but returns 0 records. There are 150 products in the database.

For troubleshooting I created a new product (test) and ran the update again, this product does get processed, but none of the others.

All of my other products were manually imported from OSC. I am reasonably proficient with phpMyAdmin, MySQL and PHP and everything else works fine with the imported products.

I compared the tables for the new (test) product that does work with the products that don't and can't find any differences. I checked the googleFroogle.php code and can't seem to find where the problem is. For some reason the script does not see the osCommerce imported items.

Please help, Google Base has been a great revenue stream for my client any advice or ideas are welcome.

I am having this problem too.

    Using v 1.3.7
    With Chemo ultimate URLS
    Have around 7000 products

Removed old SQL info from froogle feeder
Installed new google base files and SQL
    but receive the error message.

I have a shop that has been developed using Zen Cart and I cannot get the froogle feed to update the very latest pricing even though prices on the shop are displayed correctly.

In the first posting on this thread numinix wrote:

"Run a cron job for currency updates a few minutes before the google froogle feeder. This will ensure that your prices posted on Google are the same as your website if your default currency is not USD. As a Canadian seller, this was a personal issue for me."

Can you please explain how I would do this, working in GBPounds?

Sorry if this is simple stuff, but I am a complete novice.
    TIA

I have the base feeder installed on my site and it was working properly until I changed my product inventory around. Usually I am able to view the feed normally through the browser and when I upload it to froogle everything works fine. Now I am unable to view it using a browser. IE 7 tells me that there is an error in the feed and froogle tells me that they were not able to read some of the file and only 35 or my 2000 and so products are imported. I am not really sure what I causing the issue. All of the products are of the same product type and the only thing different is the categories in which they are listed.

This is a link to my feed:

Any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem would be helpful

    Thanks

    Hello Numinix,

I loaded your latest version ebay v1.0 and I still get the wierd errors and my site is no longer viewable. I really need to get this working and figure out what is causing this to happen.

I uploaded a image of what happens to my site when i load the mysql file.

Here are the errors i get.

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/batte9/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 114

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-0, MAX_DISPLAY_PRODUCTS_NEW' at line 10
    in:
    [SELECT p.products_id, p.products_type, pd.products_name, p.products_image, p.products_price, p.products_tax_class_id, p.products_date_added, m.manufacturers_name, p.products_model, p.products_quantity, p.products_weight, p.product_is_call, p.product_is_always_free_shipping, p.products_qty_box_status FROM zen_products p LEFT JOIN zen_manufacturers m ON (p.manufacturers_id = m.manufacturers_id), zen_products_description pd WHERE p.products_status = 1 AND p.products_id = pd.products_id AND pd.language_id = 1 order by pd.products_name limit -0, MAX_DISPLAY_PRODUCTS_NEW]
I hope this sheds some light on the subject. If you want I can give you more information upon request.

    Thank you

Just a side note: I can load all the files okay but when I upload the sql is when everything goes haywire.

I really have no clue. Firstly, it's not happening to anyone else. Secondly, the Google Base Feeder is working for you and they are basically the same. Send me an email and maybe we can sort this out privately since it seems to be an isolated issue.

Btw, this is the Google Base Feeder thread, not the eBay Exporter thread
