Right Column not showing up

Hi Website Rob. Still not showing the right column. I think you might be looking at the retail store, which does show it.

So basically...

RETAIL store (Does show the right column): http://www.musecards.com/store/
vs.
WHOLESALE (Does not show the column): http://www.musecards.com/wholesale/

I'm still trying to figure out what's different. I don't think it's a database issue, but rather a layout or stylesheet issue. Because it was showing up fine for a while after the database copy.

Everything else is fine in the new store.

Your Right column is showing again so I guess problem solved?

You didnt test the same database, if you dont try you are not to going to find the problem.


Try these other: change to the default template and check if you can see the rightbox.

Thanks, tried changing the template but no luck...

I also copied the entire "custom" folder in Templates to the wholesale site, but am still not showing the right column... most curious...

The problem look like a configuration problem if you dont have

navColumnOne navColumnTwo in the second template I think that mean you have a wrong value in the database or you change the tpl_main_page.php.


1) try to conect the whole sale to the retail store just change the config to the other database to test


2) Check with the winmerge the files in the template chapter to see what is diferrent.


Because you said the template work fine in one site but no in the other a think that is a database problem


Maybe Can you show a picture of you Layout Box Control in the admin
or show your tpl_main_page.php. code

You say you replaced the Templates dir. so each site is using the same files. I'm not sure that is true.

Look at the coding between these two Comments, for both sites.

The 'wholesale' page includes Form code whilst the 'retail' does not.


I have found that when replacing files using an FTP program, doesn't matter which one, there are times when the desired change is not seen. In those cases I will delete the file(s) on the Hosting account and then reupload the desired files.

I'm also wondering about the Template itself. May not be related to your current problem whenever I see < font > tags I have to wonder how old the code is and/or are there places where it may be causing problems.


Otherwise, if files used are the same, then the only place to look is within the Admin section and your settings. Those are saved in the database and different Themes can have different settings. You have not yet mentioned if you tried "jgamio's" suggestion, replacing your Wholesale database with your Retail one, to see what Layout changes if any.

I'm afraid I don't know where to find the codes you mentioned.
I had already created the retail database & site, then paid someone from this forum to create the wholesale one so that we could have different pricing, access codes, and most importantly minimum quantity requirements (the Dual Pricing module was not enough to do that, so we did the above after several TZ recommendations to do so.)

I can't reach the person who created the second database, but will try again. This seemed like something fairly simple to fix/correct via the Admin settings or one of the files, but i can see it's more involved than that.
