    bug Internet Explorer

Hi guys, I've recently updated to ZenCart ver. 1.3.7 and my website has stopped working for Internet Explorer 7 but it works perfectly fine in Firefox 2.0. I have been having a hell of a time trying to find out the cause of my problem and still cannot locate what is causing this. I could really use your help! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

PROBLEM: Website is not viewable on Internet Explorer 7 but perfectly visable on Firefox 2.0. On IE, you simply get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" generic page.

    My website URL is http://www.evotactical.com

Thanks for your help in advance!

I don't have any solutions to offer, but you're right, when I try it in FF it works fine, but in IE7 it's not there.

...a little Googling found me this:
    http://drupal.org/node/113217

Might have a problem in your head tags relating to caching causing it to hang, maybe? Or something similar relating to ZC (I know the link relates to drupal, but they had the same problem you do now.)

Also, looked at your code in Firebug. Try flipping back to the classic template and see if it will load in IE7. There might be a weird conflict with one of the .js you're running.

Try correcting the html errors first - check on any special things you may need to display flash with IE

Hi guys, I still can't figure out what is causing the problem. It just doesn't work for IE.

My additional images feature is also not working, any idea which files may be responsible?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Try opening it in IE6, the page continually reloads and comes up with an error message.

I would have said it was a javascript problem, but you dont seem to have any odd JS mods, so that rules this (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/927917) bug out.

The interesting thing is that product pages load in IE, in fact everything but the home page loads.

I think it might be your flash header; try remofing that and see if your site loads.

    HTH,
Thanks for the tip, I tried switching back to the default green template and it worked properly in IE. so I guess there must be some errors with my custom template files. But I don't even know where to begin looking and which script or files are responsible for the problem. Any tips?

have you tried without the flash header?

I don't believe its the flash header that is causing the problem because every other page besides the index page has the flash header as well and they work okay in IE. It is only the main page that is not working.

Also does anyone have any idea why my products page does not work at all?

    Thanks for your help.

I'm still scratching my head on this one. My entire site works in IE except for the main page. I suspect it could be my forum integration for the news posting which could be causing the problem, but I don't understand why it would work in Firefox but not IE.

Any help is sincerely appreciated. Thank you.
