That split login step needs to be added to the install.txt. I didn't mention it yesterday as I thought it was due to my not knowing the zen application well enough but I only worked it out after tracing the problem to an if statement which looked for the split login boolean value.

just a quick one... i was just going over the text file in the 1.3.8 version of the cowoa and the 1.3.7 and 1.3.8 are identical when it comes to the "find" and "replace" instructions... does that mean that - if i installed cowoa befor the release of the updated version by only using the text instructions, i have the current and working version or is there some code change between the 2 versions that is not in the text instructions?

There is no new code for this mod that makes it work with 1.3.8. You can use the same instructions for 1.3.7. The reason why this mod didn't work with 1.3.8 is because there were changes made by the Zen team to some of the core Zen files for 1.3.8.

All I did to upgrade this mod was.... I went through every file this mod uses and I downloaded the 1.3.8 version of it. Then I took the manual instructions given in the overrides-writes.txt file and added the proper code to the 1.3.8 files. I tested it, it worked, I zipped it up, and made it available. That's why I pray it works well for everyone, because I did not write the code and would not know how to fix the code. I just took already existing code and applied it to new files.

I think it is important for any contributor to provide instructions for manually adding code to files, as KGZotU did, instead of just giving us files with the code already in them. This is especially true if the contributor won't always be able to support the mod. It at least gives us dummies SOMETHING to work with!

I too am weary about uploading contributions. My fear is that it won't work properly and will screw someone up. I know that a lot of people are so impatient and want to get the mod on their site, so they don't back up their files first. I know this because I used to be that person. Boy did I learn my lesson!!

I really like to help any Zen user as much as I can because I know what its like to sit there, looking at your computer screen, wishing you had a hammer to beat it with because you are so frustrated you can't figure it out. So don't be shy! Someone out there can use your help, trust me.
