Hello. I am fairly new to Zen Cart. I was trying to change the meta tags and the description for my website and have not had much luck. I did a search on the forums and found a lot of topics on it but have not been able to get them to work.
Most the forums I have seen say to change the includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php file to do this but I have not had any luck with this.
Just as an example, here is what I put into the meta_tags.php file:
// page title
define('TITLE', 'Scent From Me to You');
// Site Tagline
define('SITE_TAGLINE', 'scentfrommetoyou.com');
// Custom Keywords
define('CUSTOM_KEYWORDS', 'candle, candles, bath, body, online shopping');
And here is what the page source is saying:

Not sure what you mean by having any luck with this. It seems to be working fine.

I think, tcooley, is having the same issue[ that I am having.
The keywords meta tag is being repeated as part of the description. I would like to know if they can be seperated so that each provides unique content.
Suggestions?
