Anyone found solution for this. I just installed this mod onto 1.3.8a and i see the filtered categories, but they are empty with no products. however the subcategories show, but the the products on the categories.

problems with resolving of subdomains in multisite module - (rewrite, .htaccess):

this is for all those who have problems with subdomain-resolving:

I also had some problems with this and found out:

on some servers there seem to exist this problem -- on other servers subdomains resolve without any problems:

for examle: on servage.net or hoststar.ch subdomains resolve fine:

you just have to create the subdomains you need (ex: subdomain.yahoo.com) and after that you have to delete the subdomain folder (subdomain) in your main directory.

Hi, I have a problem, After installing this module I'm now getting the error that "the domain www.imua-aloha.com does not exist." This is the parent domain for a number of masked domains that I have forwarding to this location. it is also the location of my zencart. Whats wrong? I know that my domain exists, but when I try to go to the cataloge via the admin, or to my masks (eg. www.eatideal.com), i get this exact same message.

ok. So what I want to know is.
Is there anyone that can give a step by step instruction
on how to take

Web Site 1 - I will say this would be the site I am starting my Multi Site with.
It will be a Copy of my most populated website.

Then I want to take Web Site # 2
I am assuming I would take portions of my sql.
I want to add all of my products with their Categories and Attributes to be
merged with Web Site 1.
(Also taking over the Customers might be a good idea. I think there would be a problem taking over the orders however... There would be duplicate order id's.

Anyway. How much of this could I get accomplished?

Hi there, so inlight of this:

Hi, I have a problem, After installing this module I'm now getting the error that "the domain www.imua-aloha.com does not exist."

After chatting it up with my hosing and domain people they tell me that the domain does exist, and that the problem is in relation to the zencart index.php file which is supposedly redirecting the browser to that error page which is apparently a zencart file. However, when I check the index.php file it i dont see any blatant connection to this error page, (not that i have any real coding experience, so perhaps i just dont know what to look for), and i also do not know what file contains the error page. I certainly dont have any idea as to what I should do next, With out your help I fear that I may be doomed to rejoin ratrace, "your my only hope."
