Default AustPost Module Logos

Is there anyway to remove the logos that appear fro each postage option and replace them with text?

Yes. Just don't install the logo's. The default (ALT) text will then be displayed instead.

I've probably done this wrong but Ijustthought I could delete the icons and all would be ok. When I deleted them the website just showed the normal error when it cannot load an image.

Exactly what do you consider to be the "normal error" ?
What web browser are you using?
What version?

When you say this you mean don't upload the "icons". both here admin\includes\templates\template_default\images\icons and here includes\templates\template_default\images\icons. Is this correct?

I get the same problem, it just show the image placeholders. However I did test it in Netscape and the text showed up correctly. I'm thinking it might be a day or so until the cache refreshes. Although it has been a day now and it still displays the placeholders.

I get the image place holders Red cross where the oimage hould be as well as text.

My browser is IE7. I'm also using the latest version of Zen Cart and the AusPost Module.

I was using the same terminology as the person that originally asked the question. If he'd called them 'screen clutter' I'd have called them the same thing. ;-)

Clearly a browser issue. Possibly a setting somewhere? (I don't do windows)

To tannersports,

I seems as though RodG is Mac, therefore might not be using IE. After doing a few hours reasearch it would seem that IE handles "Broken Images" with the Red X in the placeholder (the size of the plzceholder is detirmed by the alt text). Also all other browsers BUT IE replaces broken images with the alt tag information like RodG was talking about.

<img src="images/logo.jpg" alt="Logo">

I also looked for alternate ways to get IE to display like Firefox when there is a broken image (I did not have any luck). I ended up just making small text icons like the ones I've attached. This way it looks like normal text sill.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for researching that for me. :-)

Although I've no plans to release another upgrade to the module in the foreseeable future, would you have any objections if I include your icons with the next release? (as an alternative).

Cheers
Rod
