Google Checkout module for ZC 1.3.x (beta)

Just a follow up, I sorted the problem I mentioned above it was a setting on my google checkout admin ,but take note it seemed to take
a day for change to take effect.

when we activate the module, the checkout btn appears grayed-out and we

1. Have you installed correct Checkout mod for version of
zencart you are currently using?
2. You have installed ssl cert matching google requirements?
3. As per install instructions, did you
a.Set the file attribute to 777 for /googlecheckout/logs/response_error.log and
/googlecheckout/logs/response_message.log files.
b. Go to http://<url-site-url>/googlecheckout...nsehandler.php
If you get a 'Invalid or not supported Message', 'Fail to get HTTP Authentication',
or a request for User and Password, go to the next section.

from what I gather from your questions, we only don't have SSl installed. How sure can we be that this is causing the bug? Should we go ahead and pay for it?

Without correct level of SSL cert, Google checkout in live mode,
WILL NOT WORK.

we have already started the process of buying and installing SSL on the server.

However, we are trying with sandbox & without SSl and it's still not working.. Shouldn't it work with sandbox?

Yes, if you have altered settings, via admin, in zencart google checkout,
to reflect this change to sandbox.

Our store is now live with Google Checkout using version 1.4.7. Our store is designed as a gift site. Some of the "ship to" locations will be classified as businesses while others will be classified as residences. When we prepare labels for shipping on the FedEx site, the site will check if the address is a residence or business and charge us differently by using FedEx Home v. FedEx Ground. FedEx Home appears to be more expensive.

Is there anyway to have Google Checkout validate the address to see if it is a residence and then not allow the user to select an invalid shipping method? This seems possible as it is exactly what FedEx.com is doing.

As soon as someone makes a purchase it will go to my google account, but it will not show in the zencart admin area -- it simply just show's no new purchases (0's for everything with google.)

Anyone have an idea?

1. Are you using live google checkout or sandbox?
2. If you are using live, do you have recommended Google SSL cert?
3. Did you do initial check, as per mod instructions, that your zencart store is connecting to google.
