Google Checkout module for ZC 1.3.x (beta)

1. Are you using live google checkout or sandbox?
2. If you are using live, do you have recommended Google SSL cert?
3. Did you do initial check, as per mod instructions, that your zencart store is connecting to google.

2.)I'm pretty sure we do -- people's payments go through still. (Don't know for sure if that means we have recommended Google SSL certificate or not)

If you do not have SSL cert, recommended Google level, will not work
at LIVE level.

Did you do initial check, as per mod instructions, that your zencart store is connecting to google.

From Google Checkout mod instructions
i.e.

3. Set the file attribute to 777 for /googlecheckout/logs/response_error.log and
/googlecheckout/logs/response_message.log files.
4. Go to http://<url-site-url>/googlecheckout...nsehandler.php
If you get a 'Invalid or not supported Message', 'Fail to get HTTP Authentication',
or a request for User and Password, go to the next section.
If you get any errors, you must correct all errors before proceeding.
Refer to the troubleshooting section below or go to the support forum for help.

What do you mean by "Go to the next section?"

When I went to that URL, It went to a login thing -- where it asked for a username and password.

I don't mean anything, those are installation instructions.
If you got to login with username/password screen, this is correct,
then you continue to next level of instructions.

but if you do not have correct ssl cert, no point
in continuing until you do.

In my google account for API callback URL: I have https://alt-gaming.com/googlecheckou...nsehandler.php .

But you said I should go to http://alt-gaming.com/googlecheckout...nsehandler.php

(The difference is https and http)
The HTTP works and the HTTPS doesn't -- does this mean I don't have the required SSL?

Yes, it means you do not have required SSL cert.
Until you do purchase/install SSL, Google Checkout
will not work in live mode, on your zencart site.
