How do i replace the |_ in categories menu?

HI There
have searched for an answer to this one but not been able to find it!

when you click a category you get the " |_ " characters to indicate a drop down

Is there a way of removing/replacing this with something nicer?

Any contribs, or pointers as to where this can be done?

I would prefer an arrow or a nice image or evern better Ajax or someting a bit nice!

Just replace the " |_ " in the Admin> Configuration> Layout Settings> Categories Separator between the Category Name and Sub Categories Separator with an
1. <img src="path/to/your/image.gif" />

1. includes/ templates/ override folder/ sideboxes/ tpl.search_header.php
1. line 17
2. width= 100 to 135
3. line 19
4. width = 100 to 135
5. ftp the file

B. Change Wording in Search Box
1. includes/ languages/ english/ header.php
1. Line 28
2. ftp to: includes/ languages/ english/ your template/ header.php

Wicked! Thanks Haredo. I changed the width, but I did not change the words as I can't think what else to put there. I think I am getting closer to putting my site up for review!! But any other tips are very welcome

Find this declaration:

1. #navMainSearch, #navCategoryIcon, .buttonRow, #indexProductListCatDescription {
   margin: 0.5em;
   }
2. Change it to this:
3. #navCategoryIcon, .buttonRow, #indexProductListCatDescription {
   margin: 0.5em;
   }
4. Now add this new declaration to the .css
5. #navMainSearch {
   margin: 0.5em;
   float: right;}
6. Just a cosmetic thing, I believe the search function looks cleaner by itself
