For the cart sidebox- why don't you use the "Cart with Reward Points" mod- it comes with the default mod.

And I'll add the sort by Pending/Earned- Not a hard one.
my cart sidebox is a bit of a custom design :/ .. I can add the reward points just fine, but i'd like to add the extra info (earned, pending, etc) tot he side cart and not have to use an extra box if possible
