The centerbox_bg.gif is only 555 pixels wide. Your website settings are wider so the image repeats to cover the extra width. If you don't want the repeating flame drop you can always use an image editing program and remove the flame drop. This way the repeated centerbox_bg.gif will not look like that.

Or make the image a bit wider, say 1200px and transform the image so the bg repeats further east...

I have just installed this template www.electronic-web.com/games and seem to have an issue the New Products For March & Monthly Specials For March are to the right of the page not under the main text?
Why is this and how do I change it?

Silly question... can you tell me how to change the color of the blue bar background of the Specials/Featured Items etc?
I tried changing the color of page_bg.gif and re-uploading it to the same folder but it didnt seem to work.

I have been searching for a while but can't find an answer.

I am working on my site offline so I am not able to link to it here. Or if I am able I have no idea how.

Anyway, I have added manufacturers to the manufacturers sidebox and also enabled it in the layout boxes controller. It is showing up but as a list, there is no drop down arrow. This will be a problem when a lot of manufacturers are added so I've been trying to find where I could change it to a drop down option rather than a list.

Hence why I am posting as I have not found it. I'm not sure if it may be a theme thing. Or an option I am missing somewhere.

Is there a way using this template to make the manufacturers show up in the sidebox as a drop down menu and not a list?

Also, after working some more on this template, I am not able to have the HOME, LOG IN, and once logged in the MY ACCOUNT links in the header.

I removed the links to currencies, languages and shopping cart from the templates header as I didn't need them. (I will say that they are a great idea though, if I had needed them I would have left them there) so now the logo is right at the top of the page.

I would like for the HOME etc.. links to show up in the maroon bar below the logo area.As I said in a previous post, I am working on it offline so I cant link to it, I apologise if this causes a problem.

I have the store set up as a showcase so there is no add to cart but a contact us link instead. Is there a way I can remove that link or have it turned off?

I solved this issue and in case anyone ever needs to know how to do it, this is how:

In includes/languages/CUSTOM/YOU-LANGUAGE.php find this:

// customer login
define('TEXT_SHOWCASE_ONLY','Contact Us');

Remove the Contact Us leaving the ''. You can leave it blank for nothing as I did or add something else in it's place to suit your needs.

Ok, I feel silly but I found how to change this as well. For anyone else go to admin>congiguration>maximum values> ans set the Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style option to 1 to get a drop down box.

Those links can be found in the default:
templates_default/templates/common/tpl_header.php

You can copy the links code from there and apply it accordingly to your custom "tpl_header.php" file.

Thank you, I hadn't thought of that.

I just copied the bit of code from the original file and pasted it in it's appropiate place and it works. I just need to edit it now to match the rest of the theme.
