I don't see anywhere to adjust the medium image size. I can change the small and the large but not medium? Am I missing something?

Have you check to see if all the files for IH are in the correct folders and are not corrupt?

yes I have, infact I have reinstalled the mod twice.

Have you checked your image files?

My images folder contains the original large images, the BMZ_cache folder is not being populated with any files or images at all.

Real large image files will break IH and corrupt image files also break IH.

I had this mod working on another store, with images of the same size (from same distributer) But I am interested in how it breaks the handler when an image is too large, pleawse enlighten me ;-)

Why are you uploading 100K images?

this is so customers can view the large image and see the detail of hte products they are about to purchase, some items have smaller details.

Why not try smaller file and see what happens?

I feel having the larger images is a great advantage over small resized images when my customers are examining the products.

If you have more input I would love to get this sorted out, thanks again.

Image handler will sometimes choke on large images as the script will timeout before it can process the image to the smaller versions and write them to the bmz cache. Best to goto the smallest (filesize) large image you can get. Though image handler shouldn't choke on a 100k file, unless the site is on a crowded server, its normally the over 1meg images it doesn't like.

Ok.. I've read around the 200 pages here and still not found the answers.

I've 2 problems.
First an old one, when adding a new big image after the standard image i get an error and the image is not added:

Error!

Unable to determine the page link!

Function used:

zen_href_link('', '', 'NONSSL')

The next problem is a strange one.
About the big image not showing on several places.
By some products I can see the big image and by others not.
The biggest diverense is that the images what are shown are from the bmz-cache the images not shown are directly.

Hello I recently installed the image handler and notice one thing went wrong some of the pictures on my main page are gone! I think they are the defult picutures not sure cans someone help? www.creative-juices.biz. Please someone help. Thank you in advance!

Hi, I've installed IH2 on Zencart 1.38
My development Webserver is in Windows

The problem I'm having is when I go to Admin > Tools > Image handler > manager and browse to any product with images, The images shown in Default , Medium and Large Size just show an X, don't show the actual image

Also when I go to Admin > Tools > Image handler > Preview it also shows a RED X on each image instead of vthe actual image

the images that I'm loading don't have any "_"

I've attached a picture of the Preview screen

Have anyone experienced this before?

I'll appreciate any help

Sorry if I've missed this anywhere and it's already been covered.

My web host installed IH2 for me and it seems to be absolutely fine.
The only question I have is how to alter the size of the pop up image.

The image default is set on small, but when you hoover for pop up, the image doesn't come up that much bigger, so almost pointless. Anyone know how I change this?

You should be able to alter the large (popup) size in the admin, under configuration > images, down at the bottom:

IH large image maximum width
IH large image maximum height

Hi, tried that but doesn't seem to make any difference. Is it anything to do with the image size default being set to small?

Also the pop up shows at the top of the page, so if looking at something towards the bottom, you don't see the pop up anyway because it's too high.

Just a quick question before I install this mod.

Does this mod resize EXISTING images? I've read alot of the posts here and beleive the answer to be yes.

Is this automatic or do I need to reload the images in the /images folder or move them to the /bmz_cache folder?
