I'm sorry but I really don't understand this. I opened the folder and found a collection of directories starting with the 'includes' folder. I just want to make sure I have this right:

Basically, I went through the 'includes' folder and every folder inside it, that was labeled YOUR_TEMPLATE I renamed to the name of my custom template. Is this what I should have done? And then from here, should I just FTP the includes folder into my shop directory and let it add the new folders as they are?

Lastly, the other thing I don't get is the instructions for installing the sql patches. The directions say to copy and paste it rather than uploading them. I don't know what that means. Are patches installed from admin area?

Sorry for all of these questions. I just really want to add the captcha function to my shop and sometimes the instructions for mods are a little more complicated than I planned for.

Hi. I strongly suggest you read the FAQ on custom templates. It probably explains it better than I can. Basically, all you need to do is copy the file from a YOUR_TEMPLATE folder into your corresponding custom template folder. In other words you had it right in your post #9 on 28th May.

With regard to the SQL patch, go to admin/tools/Install SQL Patches. Paste the contents of the file into the large box and press 'send'. Make sure you include the very last ;
