Question about this mod:
Which version should I use for ZC version 1.3.7? Can I use the latest or do I need another version?
Thank you!

First off thanks for the contribution and support. I do however have one error on the feed that causes Google to break while processing the feed. It looks like an HTML character is the source of the problem "ü". I replaced it with a regular "u" and everything worked fine. I am using 1.6.15 with zen 1.3.8. Does anyone else have problems with encoded letters? Should a string replace in zen_xml_sanitizer function be used to catch this?
I have just decided to change this character to a regular "U" in my admin due mainly to SEO reasons. I don't know if it matters for those or not but it's a select number of products so why not. Thought I might point this out.
Thanks
Wow this is a long thread - My question to add to the growing list ;)

We have a client who is working with an SEO company who is highlighting the need for the URLs being send to Google to have TAGS added.
=========
"The destination URLs that are generated from the site in to XML format which is then uploaded into Google Base need to all have Analytics tagging on all the URLs.
Here is a link to the URL builder so you know how to construct URLs for analytics tagging:
- Campaign Source: Google
- Campaign medium: Shopping Feed
- These are the only parameters that can be tracked in the URL but this will allow us to see the data in analytics.
=========
Any insight into whether this is possible (or is planned to be possible) with the GoogleBase module?
Thanks in advance
Just this week I began getting product rejection notices for Google on the products I've been submitting for close to four years. Actually it's only on six of my 400+ products. It seems that Google has added a 'profanity' filter and some of my products are being flagged as inappropriate. I took a look and the products contain the three letter 'A' word (I don't want to offend anyone here but am writing this for clarification).
Will the current version of the add-on support filtering out these products based on profanity? I'd like to keep the products on the site but not submit those products to google products.
I'm running a pretty old version of google base feeder but it's worked so reliably that I haven't upgraded in a while.

I know I might be a little out of line here but I'm getting ready to install this feeder and have a few questions.
Is a dedicated IP really needed for it to run? I read that some place and want to know.
There are numerous SQL updates (18) shown do I need to just load the last one after I install (version 1.8.1)? (2.Install current version update_#_#_#.sql by copying and pasting (do not upload);)
The instructions say "3.Go to Admin->Tools->Install SQL Patches and install googlefroogle.sql by copying and pasting (do not upload);" and I can't even find that file.
Just so I understand I need to take these SQL files, open them some how, and then copy and paste the commands in the window in ZC rather than uploads?
Please help if you can.... I'm computer savvy just a little confused.![]()
My customer forwarded me this from Google:
Does this add-on need to be updated? Is it already being worked on?We are now requiring a new set of basic required attributes,
...
Starting September 22, accounts that do not comply with the new requirements will be suspended.
If you want to see the full text that Google sent, let me know and I'll post it.
Here's a link to google's page about it: <<click>>
Here a better link to the changes link
As far as I can tell the only missing now is the availability (online vs in store)
Everything else can be done threw the feed or directly in your Google account
I'm using v1.3.9h and just upgraded to google feed 1.10.1
I have a couple issues.
My feed registered with google is products.xml, now my feed being created is products_en.xml how do I remove that _en I don't want to create a new feed because this new one isn't creating all my products.
I have UPC installed but my feeds are not creating the UPC needed. I have it set to true.
In the configuration, when I update all my info I'm having a problem with Shipping Country, when I click on it, the Title Value Action headers fill the whole page, the area where I would edit is gone. All the other entries are fine.
I just checked my debug and I'm getting
[14-Jul-2011 02:16:54] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function google_cfg_pull_down_country_list() in /configuration.php(179) : eval()'d code on line 1
In the feed
g:shipping> <g:service>USPS Parcel</g:service> <g: price>0</g: price></g:shipping>
why is the price 0?
